It sounds surprisingly good. That said I would prefer if it were two conventional pedals. I am sure 98% of all those buying are hobbyist that keep their pedals on a bookshelf not a board so it should do well. After 9 years with my 'Not for Profit' blog ...Stomp Box Steals and having written 3,167 reviews and probably 2/3 of them are dirt pedals, LOL. I still can not find the perfect OD, LOL. According to Blogger, I have as of this minute 1,189,752 followers with the same problem, LOL. For anyone reading this. Subscribe or you won't be reminded to watch. This is one of less than 10 sites to see pedals NO ONE ELSE reviews on the whole planet!!! Otherwise you will end up with a collection of 'second best' pedals if you are lucky.

I'd like to see a pedal review channel that uses pedals into a clean power amp. As you showed with that pedal when you used it as a boost with low gain 3:45 so much of the tone comes from the amp.

What intrigues me about this pedal is that the Gain is preset. DOD should've built an amp around this circuit; or did they?

I was only marginally interested until you said there's no Gain control.

I own ok one, if I put the volume at 12 O'clock I would blow out the windows. Wonder if he has got 1 watt mode and 60 watt mode switch mixed up? But yes more than enough here for gigs.

The truss rod is an issue. I want to change strings to low-tension flats on the bass I buy and having to remove the neck is crazy! Otherwise, yes, an awesome-looking and sounding bass guitar.

FINALLY someone demoed this incredible flanger! I owned this guy for years; used it live and on recordings. It was unpredictable in a fun way. Sometimes the sweep would freeze then unfreeze while using it live and would take things on a ride lol! Mine had a volume boost which was great. Always dug vintage DOD. This pedal paired well with an 80s Deluxe Memory Man and loads of fuzz & OD; was such a great board. Inevitably, I sold it like a dumb person. The only flanger that can do this vowel like flanging (that I could find) is the Arion SFL-1 Stereo Flanger (high depth, fdbk, manual). But I still miss this flanger every damn day.

This thing sounds so much better than most direct boxes. What a great cheap option for a line into a desk 👍🏼

It sounds best with the Bari. Then again, my favorite guitarist, who lives by Fuzz and Distortions, tunes a half step lower.

This has a true stereo processing pathway. It does not sum to mono before applying the effect. The DD-2 - DD-7 all sum to mono before output. This maintains a true stereo sound in the effects loop of your stereo modelling system effects loop.

Does it have something like the Snapshot Mode in the HX Stomp?

It‘s a cool lil‘ Jazz Guitar to me. I just gigged with it a couples of time even in a bigger band setting with horns. It has a cool smooth vibe for many styles. I only had to adjust the height of the bridge and now it plays perfectly!

I’m using my torpedo captor and i’d like to use dual cabs in genome, but I can’t make it work, I only get one processed signal through the cabs, the other cab is not. How do I make it work? Hope that made sense. I’m also using logic. Thanks!

The sounds with the drive way down are very useful I was hoping to find out about the two outputs; mine is so chipped I can’t read what’s written there . I think one says “Speaker” which is silly because it couldn’t drive a literal speaker.

Why is there like a weird doubling/out of phase sound throughout this video? Is it the Pedals? I've heard other demos and these aren't like this.
