I feel the point of the movie is to show movie fans that writers are out of ideas, so they come out with garbage like this. I would be embarrassed to be part of something like this when there are still good franchises like Insidious, or the conjuring.

It's entertainment. You're just complaining about a book/movie you don't like. As an author I can say without a doubt that finishing a piece of work is one of the most difficult things you can do and that's before even trying to get published, which is 100 times harder. What you're doing on the other hand, making a video and providing annoying commentary in the background is extremely easy. My 5 yr old nephew does it. So what I'm saying is STFU until you've written and published something of merit. Only then should you be allowed to speak on the subject.

This is kinda happening in real life to us all. They are here and they do use our energy for survival.

I know the movie isn't perfect. But I watched it with my dad, had a good time, and had us theorizing.

You missed the whole Carl Jung running themes all throughout this movie. Carl Jung had sex with his patients. And it was beyond creepy. It was part of the Jungian motif running rampant, obviously, like with the chapter names, persona, Anima, Animus, dark shadow, self; and subtly like with the movie posters, the minimal use of color, the characters, the names, the underwater themes, like the underwater nature of dreams in general, and specifically, Sarah's dreams. Also, she's an underworld figure. She was 18 when she went "down under" into coma land, as a Kore, a maiden, and she probably thought Dr. Riff was cute. Remember, they were opening her eyes regularly. And coma patients are known to be "awake" and slightly aware at times. So she went to the underworld and she looked at her favorite doctor as a God. She dreamed about having awkward sex with her favorite doctor. And somewhere along the way, she thought vampire teeth are the coolest thing evah!

Denzel was the killer. The fancy boots the girl saw was in his motel room
