Shiv is still very, very wealthy. They are all very, very wealthy still. The absurdity is even Greg as an assistant is making more money than 90% of American households. Only 10% of American households earn more than $200,000. I enjoyed the fact that in the end none of the Roys won out. In the end, it was never really about who ended up being CEO. It was always about trying to be worthy in the eyes of their father. It was always about how tragic these people were. None of them can love, none of them have any integrity or values, none of them have a purpose and ultimately they don't have family. Despite what Logan said, he did nothing for his kids and they end up with nothing - except money. They are all awful, awful, petty, vindictive, abusive, and useless people.

The only person Shiv is loyal to is herself. We've even seen Roman show some kind of hesitation at betraying his father, but Shiv will turn on anyone in a heartbeat if it benefits her. It makes her utter hatred of Kendall hypocritical since she's just as bad as him.

All of the siblings needed to get far away from the toxic dynamic and empire their dad created. The company would’ve been the death of all of them tbh. Especially Kendall. He was going insane and in my fantasy future he’ll be better from an emotional standpoint and so will Roman. They didn’t want the position of ceo they wanted to prove to themselves and their father that they mattered. They were competing for love. They all need to heal and move on.

The ending was a chef’s kiss.

My hubby & I believe that Logan Roy won from the grave. He wanted to sell his company to GoJo and that is exactly what happened. As Tom said in Season 3 to Kendall, Logan always wins. Kendall was all alone in the end with Colin (Logan's former driver) watching over him; Roman ended up back where he began; and Shiv wanted Tom and had to suck it up and stand with Tom. We noticed Tom extended his hand as he's now changed & feels about Shiv as she did in the first 3 seasons~~their roles are reversed. As far as Greg, it's a shame he didn't get the boot but we believe Mattson and Tom will be using Greg to take the fall for anything especially bad with the new merger. Also, I'm sure Greg's salary will be clawed back dramatically as Mattson now knows Greg is a traitor. Great writing by Jess Armstrong and ending this show on a high. We thoroughly enjoyed this show.

I hate the fact they were all cool and all on board at the house then at the board meeting she changed her mind. 😅

she picked tom because tom was honest with her. if tom didnt tell her it was going to be him she assumed it was going to be Lawrence. with that as the assumption she would have picked Ken, but because Tom told it was gonna be him it did 2 things. the first being is he was being honest with her. by keeping her in the loop when he didnt have to which Ken literally did the opposite and if she voted ken the 2nd he was voted in he would have begun the process of freezing her and roman out. 2nd building off that ken would have frozen her out where as Tom sort of proved he would keep her in the loop if it was him. oh 3rd reason with ken/tom it wasnt going to be her, so lets play out the outcome. if its ken basically she doesnt get a say, she doesnt get the money and effectively ken is in control of her net worth cause if he runs waystar into the ground her worth is tied up in the share price so she would literally lose hundreds of millions if Ken couldn't measure up. on the other hand if she votes to sell she not only has Toms ear, she also makes hundreds of millions if not billions from the sale rather then have that risked in the hands of Ken. finally she gets to fuck over Ken which in a way means she sort of won cause she can always frame it as her being team Tom and she iced out her brothers so her and her hubby could sit on the crown.

They are all better off not trying to be Logan 2.0. They now have a better chance of pursuing their own path. And Shiv doesn't have to prove she can be a distant corporate Mom.

I am disappointed that Shiv didn't go after Matsson (verbally or even physically) after finding out he played her all along. After all, Shiv NEVER holds back when she is upset with her brothers, Tom, or even her Dad/Mom. They should have done a scene with Shiv facing Matsson and giving it to him....would have been a great scene!

Tom made Shiv to accept the deal because he knows her ambition would make her stay with the CEO, that is why he told her he was the chosen one. Shiv knew Kenn would dispose her after voting against the deal.

Can't feel sorry for a group of billionaires who didn't get to run Dad's businesses into the ground.

So sad, they sell the company for billions and we are supposed to cry for them. They are all putrid people, especially Shiv..... While I watched the entire series, I'm glad it's over.

Someone making an emotional, erratic, self-defeating and implausible decision for the purpose of narrative is not my idea of “tragedy”. So What comes first, Tom and shiv get divorced. Or Tom gets fired? She gets nothing in this deal.
