People could be a little more empathetic and gentle with parents at IEP meetings. The word LAZY is offensive and off putting.

Do you happen to have a list of recommed books on different topics that are informative and library worthy?

My child has ASD 3, and she is 3 years old. What age is it recommended to start potty training for children with severe autism? I definitely can start taking her to the bathroom with me when I go to “potty”, as well as, start changing her in the bathroom. How will I know that she is ready to start sitting on a potty? Note: She also has Cerebral Palsy level 3.

This is my favorite strategy for my children and my clients' IEPs. I love how you broke down the future planning into 5 categories. I'm going to start incorporating these more.

Great tips as always!! Thank you so much Ashley. I wish I had more patience considering my child is in high school and is so far behind his peers. I love your basement!

Perfect message for imperfect times. Everyone on the IEP team deserves the grace of the assumption of having the best of intentions. My empathy cup has been refilled. Thank you.
