Gen Z is not wrong. The Boomers have just ruined everything for everyone. Esp the ones who became successful. They're like vampires. If you have a job you have to pay taxes too and you'll be expected to move out and live on your own which is not feasible as rents are high and taxes are shitty and really what are you doing if you can't earn enough to save or even have a job that you enjoy? It's super not worth it. I'm gonna quit too and live very frugally and minimally. Let the rich people keep the economy afloat by spending or whatever. Let them eat cake.

you quit because you are too dumb to handle life, so we just keep making money while you take mental health days, its literally my job top maintain an ai bot thats posts fakes jobs and even one that talks to you dumb dumbs. you are so desperate for work you tell it your ssn address and everything about your past 7 years and i move on, lol you are all fucked

How do you feel confident abt your mole? I have one on my face like you that is dark and noticeable and feel super insecure. I’d love some advice I think ur awesome
@alyxandriaang8 күн бұрын
thanks for this comment! ngl i was bullied a lot for my mole as a kid, and it took a lot of work to get to a place of self love. i think what really helped was telling myself that i look so unique and not many have a mole like mine :) it made me feel almost proud of my mole. hope that helps!

Me who read The Inheritance Cycle without doing that (The two last books have 1000+ pages and the whole series has so many details and things going on. It's literally impossible to remember it all)

As someone that just turned 30, I loved this. We all must define success our way because what we are working towards to, when we are working on our goals… it will always be different. I think only as children we are all in a similar page due to school but once school is out the adventure begins. Here’s to all of us working to succeed on our goals. We got this.

No problem to quit for make any choice you like. Just make sure you are financially responsible for yourself too. When you quit, don't expect financial support from your parents or goverment.

Love the video! As a 32-year-old millennial, I hate the backlash that GenZ receives. Your 20s, and honestly life in general, are about exploring things that work best for you. Keep exploring and setting those boundaries 🌟Life has been hard on us all. We all deserve better and for our mental health to be valued.

I quit so so so many jobs in my 20’s, a lot of it was job hopping, really, trying to find better jobs because I had SO many bad jobs. That’s what your 20’s are for IMO. Then when I was 28 I went to grad school and started a new career path which I’m still doing at age 42 :)
@alyxandriaang11 күн бұрын
yes actually! but i think it was different back then for other generations who have stayed in jobs for over 20 years. thanks for sharing your experience <3

i recentlyish (4 months ago) quit my job without anything lined up and i knew that the job market was horrendous but oh my god i was not prepared for how horrible the job market is. I think that would also be an interesting video topic? I've seen some youtube videos about it, but yeah. like the scams and amount of ghost job postings and how you can apply for a job and never hear back from them is Absurd. i also just cannot for the life of me figure out what kind of job i think would be sustainable for me that I could also realistically get. everything about work and jobs and everything that's tied to it (ie insurance) is so... annoying? devastating? evil?! all of the above. god
@alyxandriaang12 күн бұрын
Yeah I’ve seen so many videos about that too and it would be interesting to do a deep dive! I think there is still too much taboo about quitting esp when it’s about mental health ! Thanks for sharing your experience ❤

Boomers had that same analysis about Millennials before ... they say we are lazy and arrogant when all we wanted was work life balance - Quiet Quitting

With GenZ AI digital twin replacement workers, they will never know you left
@ladybookworms4 күн бұрын
Good for them and good for AI I guess. When are YOU going to be replaced by the way? Hopefully you can make sure you aren't ear deep in debt when that happens. If AI is going to replace you anyway then why even bother to get employment in the first place? Gen Z is better off finding alternative ways to finance themselves than working a stupid job where AI is going to replace them anyways. I hope you see the stupidity of your statement.

it's so true though, older generations are mad that we realized we don't have to sell our soul to capitalism and it's like ?? sorry not sorry lmao

Ooof I feel like that balance of social media and low stakes hobby enjoyment is a hard one! Especially when we are socialized to see personal value as connected to performance and productivity. I think finding stuff that I knew I was going to be “bad” have been the funnest hobbies to pick up, because their is something really cool in giving yourself permission to fail and learn without any pressure.
