I also had a conversation with my brother who is an elder and I voiced my concern about CSA stating that I won’t ever go back to a Kingdom Hall , after a few long text messages his final text was “I agree” (when I brought up my concerns about not reporting it to authorities,unless they HAD to) and he then sent me the days text which was to “leave it in Jehovah’s hands, and we can’t judge that’s his job” . So it kinda just backtracked on everything that he agreed to but he still will deal with disfellowshiping and wipe their hands of them . He sent me a PDF of the new rules of reporting CSA from the “Secret elders book” and I was horrified by the wording in many places , they will stay the same but changing words to avoid courts and legal things and to say they have changed. They have to realise that the “World” is not easily “Blinded” by words like all the JWs are from years of brainwashing . So they will be caught out with the changes made to avoid scrutiny.

When I was a ministerial servant, I remember an elder who took money from the donations. I thougt he was gonna be disfellowshiped, but nothing happened. I was a child of 8 in 1975, my mum was a JW my dad was not. Dad got up in the “meeting” some time in 1976 and asked the “elders” to explain why the prediction never came about. The “elders” came to our home and told him he was not welcome at the “meetings” anymore not long after! My parents separated not long after that. The JW’s are a messianic apocalyptic cult who are happy to destroy families in service of their delusions. Sadly, I still have family who adhere to this nonsense! They are completely brainwashed! They are misled and they mislead others. Their portion will be according to their deeds. (2Peter 2:19,20, Romans 2:6-9)
