I made it few times already, thanks for the recipe. Do you have any tips how to clean Dutch oven after cooking? It takes time to clean and it has staining now. Thanks
@RealCookingInMyKitchen19 сағат бұрын
You are welcome! Here is a video how I clean my Dutch oven: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iLSFdbl1qczHk6M.htmlsi=RgSleqNj3Dp3u2mT In extreme cases I use tiny amount of Weiman glass cook top heavy cleaner and polish, but I suggest trying it on a small area first. Here is a link to how to use it: www.hawkandtigergf.com/post/cool-cleaning-hack-for-enameled-cast-iron I hope it helps 🤗

Putting a tri tip in an oven is sacrilegious and no need to cut off the end.
@RealCookingInMyKitchenКүн бұрын
You don’t have to cut off the end, but keep in mind that the thinner end piece will be cooked well done.

How do you keep/store the trimmings for beef tallow? How long do they keep??
@RealCookingInMyKitchen12 күн бұрын
For the tallow I just put into a zip lock bag and put in freezer but use within a month 😊 if you have a vacuum sealer you can keep in freezer at least 3 months. Hope this helps. Have a wonderful day.

That costs $6.99lb in Virginia. It’s called picanha and you should cut it into 1” steaks and grill or 3” for grilling on rotisserie bbq.

Outstanding, looks great and a quick preparation! I usually roast them like this in the winter and marinade them for the grill in summer. My Costco has had these one time in the 23 years I’ve been going there so we have to get them at the local butcher.

I got hooked on these big beef ribs the first time I brought them in April at Costco. I've had them for dinner 4 times and you absolutely cannot rush them. They take 3.5 hours to cook in the oven and I leave them in another 30 minutes after I slather them with my homemade bar b que sauce. They are delicious
