If you can get 30% vinegar from feed store, as one can in the states, you can destroy any ants’ nest by pouring 2-3 gallons over it. That one is a bit too close to your kitchen. Just be careful and don’t consume the vinegar or handle it with bare hands. It’s very strongly acidic! My parents’ idea of a great retirement was a small farm in Texas, with a pecan and fruit orchard, and dairy goats. Fire ants could be a problem near dwellings or animals, but the 30% vinegar put paid to them!
