My Kenmore DWSR-ELE clothes dryer is not heating though I have replaced the Dryer Heating Element, the Thermal Fuse & the High-Limit Thermostat. What else can possibly keep it from heating when everything else works fine?

Me and my 2007 (Mechanical!) Whirlpool love your work. Simple question though: Where can I get a defrost timer that does not fail? I have two so far that in either case need to be "slapped" to ge the whirlygig inside to start spinning again. It's a random event that I notice only when I see the temp in the freezer and refrigerator sides rising above normal.

9:28 PM, I have a Samsung electric oven, it has an E-OE code which is for the dock lock which is working fine, when I try to use the oven it’s shows 175 degrees but never gets hot, I have checked the elements and the temperature sensor and all is good. What do you think this is? Thanks Ronnie

So I’ve been having a time with this frig. It keeps my beer cold so I keep it around 32-33. The defrost thermostat is giving me hell. I replaced the cold control early on and now it can’t be set above 1 or it gets too cold. I have jumped the defrost temp sensor and the defroster comes on and will blister your fingers. There’s a picture in my phone but I won’t bore you with that. I replaced the defrost temp sensor with one from Amazon and it was different, it had red and black wires. The original had pink and brown. Testing that sensor you said stick it in freezer and it should close. If that was the case wouldn’t it stay closed all the time? Because it lives in the freezer. Is there a certain temperature that it should close? So far I stilll have the original problem, but I’ve added the cold control problem that I seeem to have created with my Amazon cold control. I can go in there with a hair drier and defrost the coils and everything is sweet for 10 days or two weeks then the coils freeze up and the beer gets warmer. Viscous cycle it is. HELP

Saved me $700 bucks at least thanks for making this video. I had replaced the element which was burned but new element wouldn’t heat. Tested thermostats all fine. I was about to give up and saw this. The element had tripped the breaker but not completely so as to kill it totally I had 120 but not 220.

Hi Bill, I have an older Whirlpool top load washer that is not dispensing hot water. Cold is fine. I replaced the inlet valve, swapped out the hoses, checked for corrosion but it still not giving hot. I turned off cold and left hot on and still no hot water. Any assistance would be appreciated!

I have a Kenmore Ultra Fabric Care, model 110.97284810 that suddenly stopped working. With no prior warning (it wasn’t limping along or anything like that), the dryer won’t start. I press the START button and I hear clicking underneath the timer DIAL. I saw your video & noticed there are wires going to the timer dial. What could I test to determine if something to do with the timer dial is no good? And is it possible to find parts for this old machine? (I LOVE this dryer.)
