Great point about transcribing...I always use other peoples work for inspiration. Before writing sessions...I would always put music on that was very specific to what I was writing or practicing at that time.

If you threw a fuzz pedal and a chorus on that saxophone, it would sound sick!

One of my favorite drummers in Gene Coye and just saw Janek not long ago playing for Steve Smith. What a beast on the bass.

I think for it all to work, you have to be performing all the time, or as much as possible. If you are only ever in your bedroom, the performance side doesn't get a chance. To get to perform all the time you've got to be willing to play any gig, at least to begin with, I think. This is from a non-performers point of view.

Sublime. Full-bodied, but not pretentious. Pleasantly oaky aftertaste. 5 stars, Bob.

Hi Bob, thanks for the upload. Great band, great playing, love the interaction between you guys and this (new?) intro to the song. Could you tell me, also a saxophone player trying to play with effects, what effects you are using? Thanks!

Huzzahs all around for the wire choir. Nice stuff, Bob. Smooth...so smooth and smoky. I love how different it all sounds compared to Snarky. So much sonic territory is taken up by all the keys and horns. This has so much space. The guitar players always know how to use as little as possible to get an atmosphere. And all the solos are so tasty and absolutely on point.

Oh lordy, that is beyond sublime. I can feel my back chill as I'm listening to this. The spirit of The Yellow Jackets and Micheal Brecker but with Bob's stamp on it. Just stunning!
