2002 dodge caravan wheelchair ramp van. No dash or radio lights. Cranks but not starting. Happy to report that fixed it. Unfortunately my fiancé and I can't just hop into the other car and go anymore with the whole electric wheelchair thing. You just saved our date night my dude. This was fantastic because one minute it was working then I ran into this problem after switching out my ignition switch. I thought I had blown a fuse, but after doing this trick it solved the issue. Thank you for sharing!

Worked for me. : ) I went out to my car and could here something clicking on and off. I realized that I must have left the key in the on position and the battery was running out. I tried to start and click was all I got. So I put on the battery charger. Once charged it started, but I had no lights inside, no dash lights, the door locks did not work and the automatic doors would not open. I watched this video and took off the battery cable and presto, it works again. Now I can get maybe another 100,000 miles out of my car. : ) thanks for sharing.

I'm going to try this on my sister's Town & Country. I was driving when the dash lights quit and I thought the tail lights must be out but no. So at least we were able to drive home in relative safely. I also went looking for a bad fuse only to find there is an ECM involved.

For you about this video that you showed about resetting the vehicle dashboard lights by taking the ground cable off battery for 2 seconds for the dash lights to come on now what if the vehicle lights on the dashboard don't work as you say. ? what happens exactly and no lights come at all . there's no fuse box under the dash inside of the car at all. I was stressing over this....had the same thing happen on my wife's 05 T&C...... all the instrument panel and radio back lights just went out....checked all the fuses...did a bunch of other things....till I Googled it and found your video.....WA-LA it worked..... just wonder why that happened???

What if your dashboard if half lighted up?like from left to right. From the gas gauge to the speed Gauge from 0 to 50 its out. 60 it's lighted to see, that part shows its lights up?the right half. What you did in this video still works?

dodge i have does this but with other issues- sometimes the motor wont stay running- i unhook the battery then it does. one time the motor would not turn over i turned on the headlights it started right up. now it starts up and runs but the dash gas and heat gauge dont work. the abs light stays on with the alarm light on
