Жыл бұрынIn this video Todd and Dan tackle a beast of a project - a rear differential install. During this video you'll see the uninstall the original differential, press together the new Torsen T2-R differential, and prepare it for installation.
Stay tuned for part two where they'll wrap up the installation, install a new Ford Performance finned differential cover, GT500 caliper relocation brackets, and new powerstop calipers.

That shim 21:00 for the pinion you were holding looked like an oil slinger (which is what you might damage when prying out the oil seal) The shim (which is usually very thin .01 - .03) is under the bearing between the pinion gear face and inner bearing race. The slinger is above the bearing between the race and oil seal and works to throw oil back out to the bearing race.
