I really love how you began this message! If a verse ever "contradicts" faith alone in Jesus Christ alone, then we must understand, that in context, that verse cannot be Salvific! When people do not rightly divide the word of God nothing but complete confusion ensues! Thank you so much for this wonderful ministry!

Hello! Can you, family in Christ, pray for me? I have had a really rough recent 2 1/2 years or so. On antidepressants, renewed my mind from legalism to living under grace, and just brokeness healed on the inside. I just took a walk outside and it feels like I cry every day. Just tired, exhausted on the inside. I try to also do other things to eat in a balanced way and enough, sleep well, exercise as I can and walk with God. Just um.. very broken now

Hi there. I know what you mean I sometimes go through that as well but please remember the renewing of you mind begins with The Truth always always look at The Bible/ Gospel For peace and always go and read sound doctrine and today this message was freeing to me because I used to think a certain way but now I am each day getting more Truth from Scripture and learning how to rightly divide The Word of Truth. We must learn how to cast down vain imaginations and take every thought captive and align it with The WORD OF GOD. Remember as Christians we still have the flesh/ sin nature. We are not perfect but remember we have freewill Remember everything we do is a choice Good or bad . So we must always daily read Scripture so we can be reminded on the choices to make and to get good instructions on how to live upright. Remember no matter what you do that your flesh nature will still try to fight back but read Ephesians 6 on The Whole Armor of GOD. And how to fight Spiritually. When you are tempted remember Scripture to help you not do it . Pray daily without ceasing . Ask GOD to help you in where you are struggling. GOD does answer our prayers He is faithful and Just to forgive us when we confess our sins to Him by when we come in agreement with GOD and say we did sin and we are sorry and we need GOD to help us to do better. Remember Scripture says that there's no condemnation for those who are in Christ. When you first believed in Jesus Christ alone for the payment of your sins past present future His death burial Resurrection You were saved and sealed with The Holy Spirit until the Day of Redemption. Once saved always saved. But when you become a child of GOD you must live like a child of GOD . Discipleship and discipline is very Important in the Christian walk . This how we serve others and most importantly serve GOD. When we are living in unrepentant sin We are damaging our fellowship with GOD risking Chastening from GOD. Read psalms on what david says what it felt like to not confess sins it's like a dark ,heavy ,sad , painful, despairing spinning down out of control of the mind it feels like you're numb like your bones are drying up you feel so down. But remember that EVERYTHING WAS PAID IN FULL THROUGH JESUS DEATH BURIAL RESSURECTION. confess and accept that it all has been forgiven and you need to now follow Jesus. You are so Loved everyday GOD chastened the ones who He loves and scourges every son Who He receives. Like A Loving Father He Corrects us in discipline so we can come back to our senses. I will pray for you. Remember that GOD loves you very much you're so precious to Him . GOD bless you ❤️🙏

With all due respect, it's the 7 mountain mandate. For reference, listen to Charlie Kirk when Jack Hibbs introduces him for the first time and they shake hands. When I was at Bethel, I neither saw nor heard any of these NAR mandates- the only thing that I can figure is that God protected me from the foolishness that I can now see after getting out of the false gospel outfits.

Hey I really appreciate the video, your the first pastor I've seen having a different view on 1 John other than it being a test for genuine saving faith, so I'm more than happy to learn about this! I agree with most of what you have said, however the verse that confuses me the most is John 3:10 and you stopped right before that, could you please give a short commentary on that as well? Thanks! By the way here's why it confuses me: "By this it is evident who are the children of God and who are the children of the devil" - You mentioned that Christians can live like the children of the devil (temporarily), however this verse isn't talking about "living like" but "being" children of the devil, and I'm absolutely certain that no child of GOD can also be a child of the devil, not even temporarily -> I can't help but believe that this verse talks about salvation and not just about how close your walk with the LORD is - Also John seems to suggest that this is the way how we can see whether someone is saved, this is how it becomes "evident" "whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother." - loving your brother is clearly a work, therefore it seems to me like John is saying it becomes evident whether someone is saved or not by looking at his works (righteousness and love) - obviously that wouldn't mean that we are saved by works, but that we are saved by faith and that we are saved will become evident in that our new nature will produce fruits of the spirit (works)

Thanks for the comment. I believe we have up to part 15 available. The thing to note is the dichotomy between the flesh nature (born of mom and dad) and the spirit nature (born of God). The flesh only sins; it is always condemned. The spirit cannot sin; it is not condemned. The believer has both of these. Your spirit goes to heaven, but your body obviously dies. You get a new body that cannot sin in heaven. The flesh does not love his brother, the flesh is of the devil, and the flesh is not inheriting eternal life. The flesh nature is the “murderer.” Compare this passage with Galatians 5:16-23 and Roman’s 8. - Trent

Putting your faith in the Lord. Is making him Lord of your life. Why call me Lord but you don't do as I say. Believe trust submit and obey are used the same in the Bible. John 3;36 Whoever believes on the Son has life, But whoever does not obey will not see life. I am the true vine and my father is the vinedresser. If you don't abide in me and produce fruit you are cut off and wither,then gathered and throw into the fire. Matt7 Wise man put my words into practice, But the foolish man didn't and it led to destruction. Whoever gives up there life for my sake will gain eternal life. Whoever loves their life will loose it. Means whoever lives for themselves will loose. The second we humbly come to God and surrender are will. Say your will Lord not my will. He will give you are new heart with new desires. Were you want to serve him and your new heart hates sin. That is when you are born again. If you seek me all your heart you will find me. Jesus is the baptizer of the holy Spirit. You meet God that's what changes you. You feel and know his grace and love. Your hearts desire is to obey him after that. I'm not saying I perfectly do that. Sin is unbelief. When we sin aren't believing God. I hate it when I do soin I ask him to change me and confess. 1 John That's why anyone who lives in sin(practices sin lives in rebellion against God ( compromises with sin,justifies sin) is not repentent is not born of God. God changes us when we are born of God. you do a 180 turn from sin I haven't drank looked at porn, used tobacco since the night I met Jesus when he saved me. I called myself a Christian my whole life. I ask Jesus into my heart when I was 7. But there was no heart change. I served myself for 30 years. I prayed and asked for forgiveness all the time. But was still lost. I was self decieved When you believe something you actions will show it. It's evidence. God knew my heart and I wasn't fully committed to him. He says to choose who you will serve. Ezekiel 36 talks of the new birth. It took me a bit to get a handle on my mouth I even fasted.the holy Spirit was sanctifying me. I don't remember the last time I cussed. When I submitted to Jesus The first thing Jesus told me to do that night was to forgive my wife and get baptized. Jesus showed me my heart how I was living against his will and justifying my sins. When I seen how bad I really was I asked for forgiveness.jesus entered my room,I could see the holes in his hands. He wrapped his are around me. I've never felt that much love and peace in my life. I received the holy Spirit,I could hear him speaking to me. I was a totally change person. I pray this helps people that don't understand what believing really means. There is a false teaching going around that a Christian can live however they want. If they believe that they are only believing in there head and not in their heart. Cause if you believe in your heart your actions will show it. Your not saved by works. Your behavior(works) is evidence you have believed. No fruit no root!!! You are not planted in Christ. Your belief is in vain..

The word for 'obey' in John 3:36 is better translated as "believe." This is a simple study of the Strong's Greek. KJV has it right. - Trent

You need to put your trust in Jesus. That's the Gospel and all his teachings. it is power of the Gospel that saves. We must die to self not as a work to save us but out of love For Christ. “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’ The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Bible says choose to day who you will serve. Your idols of money,status,sex, alcohol, tv, social media. Or serve the living God. You can't have to masters Your idols and sins. Or A righteous God who says be holy cause I'm holy.
