I have a trailer saver on my HDT. My 1st Trailer Saver I used in my 3500 Dodge and it was amazing. The ride for the 5th wheel has proven itself in the worst conditions, nothing moves, gets knocked over, and the cupboard doors stay closed. We'll worth the higher cost.

I have the gooseneck Gen-Y and love it. It's 100 percent noticeably better That the 5th wheel hitch I had before.

But if you go to GD and have this they will further deny Warranty

I put a Reese goose box on my toy hauler and from what I can find it’s the only one that won’t void the factory warranty. I’m out of warranty so I don’t care anyways.

We bought our Seismic 4113 in January. By mid-February, it had the MORryde Independent Suspension and the GenY hitch. Number 1 reason is to extend the life of the camper and it's frame.

I have the gen-Y boss for my bumper pull, tongue weight for me is just a tad over 2000 lbs fully loaded (forest river vengeance rogue 32v toy hauler) dry pin weight is 1598 lbs , and loaded was 2100+ so I had to move equipment. The only hitch was the gen-y boss goo for 2000lbs to 3200lbs . Best Investment for ride quality and durability......

Everybody seems to be going to the gen-y and loving it. I might look into the gooseneck version. I am also waiting to see how this curt gooseneck pin box performs. I haven’t been able to find any reviews since it relatively new.

What about the Lippert approved Reese goosebox?

Ibdont know if your trailer is still under warranty. Love or not is it an approved replacement? Those look heavier than stock. My understanding is companies have a list of approved replacements

So what was the conclusion for the Gen-y goose hitch...

Gen Y is a great product!!! One question . will this product void the Lippert frame warranty? If you are the second owner, not an issue.

It has to be certified by the manufacturer and frame manufacturer to not avoid warranty

That was a nice comparison that Brinkley did. But they left off any testing with the Reese Gooseneck. So - nice test but not a good comparison by any means. It makes them (Brinkly) come across as biased and leaves one wondering who-paid-who for the testing.

Been visiting SC for a bit this year. And, wow… the roads here are a series of bad patches. FYI… we LOVE etrailer. Will not buy from anyone else.

Garbage, get a Hensley trailersaver and be done.
