The Deadly Spawn is such an underrated film! It was released at the same time as The Evil Dead, yet The Evil Dead is more revered. The Deadly Spawn is slow to start but once is gets rolling, it never lets up! It packs masterful tension and scares and wonderfully inventive FX!! The Deadly Spawn deserves more love and reverence alongside its more well known counterparts! Cellar Dweller is also seriously underrated too!!

I love all 10 mentions and usually re-watch them all. Splinter was quite popular among horror fans. Frankenstein Unbound was unusual but still creative. Thanks for mentioning it. Bridget Fonda was in that film too. Most of those films copied Alien and I don't blame them. Alien has created a very special atmosphere. Unlike other Alien fans, I welcome any Alien rip-off. I just adore this type of films

Check out a British 1990s film called The Boneyard (available in full on KZfaq) in it some Mayan or Aztec curse revives 3-4 children to be very creepy ghouls, and at the end someone’s mini poodle turns into a giant poodle monster. It is hilarious and fun.

Splinter is AWESOME...and Jill Waggoner is so great, just like she was in the cruely cut short Blade TV series, another totally underrated GEM. I HATE when series are canceled before some sort of resolution, another egregious example being The Sarah Conner Chronicles..such an amazing series...I'm glad Lena Headey went on to play Cersei Lannister (even named one of my pups Cersei) but Goddammit I want resolution...both Blade AND Sarah Conner ended on SERIOUS cliffhangers and I will NEVER forgive the networks! There should be a rule that even if a show is being cancelled there needs to at LEAST a half assed conclusion....I guess that's what fanfiction is for lol ( besides fapping)

Landau and Palance are actually together in other horror movies. There is a little known British 80s horror movie set in America called Alone in The Dark (nothing to do with the games or the game based movie). In it 4 old men escape a mental asylum and start terrorizing people in the neighborhood. It’s a horror film with gruesome murder scenes, titties, and some comedy. In the end there is also a weird scene in which the character played by Jack Palance goes into some punk rock night club where in the entrance lobby he takes out his gun, brings it to the face of the punk girl, and then she starts sucking on it as he smiles. Very strange but fun.
