There was one Alcatraz Escape Attempt I like better though. A prisoner who worked in the prison laundrymat hatched a very time-consuming plan. Little piece by little piece, he cut off different guard uniforms until he had assembled a full uniform. Then he simply put it on and walked out and got onto a ferry. He made two critical mistakes though. One, the guards make regular prison rounds every hour or so, so his disappearance was noticed almost immediately. Two, he THOUGHT he was going on a ferry to the mainland, but it was to nearby Angel Island. He was caught there and sent back to Alcatraz.

Ok, for the Alcatraz one, my Grandpa knew Clarence when he was little. NO JOKE. So, because of how things were back then, my great grandparents fed and provided a bed for him, as long as he helped with the farm. He and my Grandpa worked on the farm together. He said that Clarence was a troublemaker; He would go to school with an apple and come home with an orange. Eventually he caused too much trouble and had to go somewhere else. My Grandpa went on to fight in WWII and survive, while Clarence... well, you know what happened. I just thought I'd share this.

Prison Break was an amazing show. Compelling cast, brilliant story telling, and concept. The reboot from a couple years ago, left a lot to be desired.

This was a pretty good escape; back in the convicts times, a guy escaped an Aussie prison by skinning a kangaroo, wearing the skin, and hopping away. However, just after he escaped, he was shot by a hunter, hunting kangaroos xD

I forgot the guy's name, but back in the days of mob gangs, one guy who was deemed a Robin Hood was arrested and sentenced to jail. Fearing what fate he might face, he arranges for a wooden toy gun to be made and smuggled into his cell. He then takes one of the maintenance workers as a hostage and orders him to call all the guards. He demands the guards to put down their weapons and keys and locks them all up in a jail, no one ever realizing that the gun he was threatening to use was nothing more than a toy. According to rumor, after all the guards are locked up, he takes the toy gun across the bars and says "Look at what I locked you monkey up with," revealing the gun to be a wooden toy. He then makes his escape to freedom. I wish I could remember the guy's name or the name of the prison (which was supposedly unescapable), but I thought it'd be a nice one to point out to you.

I think it's funny how me and Matt both stopped watching Prison Break at the same time, then again I could imagine most people stopped there.
