I have a treasure trash story. My parents work at Uhaul so they have free reign of abandoned storage units and Uboxes. So, a storage unit had been abandoned and my mom went digging she found some aviator sunglasses, and brought them home. The sunglasses turned out to be $535 Louis Vuitton aviators

I bought a porcelain teapot at a garage sale for a dollar. It turned out to be made by Arzberg in the 1940s and was a one-off piece made for a special order. The manufacturer couldn't find the record of who it was for, but said it would have been pretty costly and most of their custom orders in that time period were for royalty. Still have it.

I love how caring, positive and receptive you are man. You're one of the only youtubers on youtube who doesn't require the fans to adapt to a NEW FORMAT because you want to try something new. You tried something new, many didn't like it, and as a result you simply went back to the original. That's a really mature and impressive way to run a youtube channel. When my great aunt passed away, my grandma went out to her house and brought back a lot of stuff. We have a Victorian wedding dress, a unique record player from 1912, and several letters between a female family member and a man in ww1, complete with locks of hair. Edit: somethings I forgot came from her house: original paintings of landscapes from a family member who painted all across America but never made a name for himself, his paint box including og paint, gold flaking and an unopened compartment due to lack of key that we believe has his brushes. A Ww2 uniform that my grandpa unfortunately sold.

I'm not exactly a major fan, no offense, but I do enjoy your Channel and know that you've been facing a lot of really difficult situations and issues in your own life... That's pretty much my life, basically. Learning new random crap constantly. So, if you ever find that's something you'd enjoy and not have to deal with fanatics and trolls and all that nonsense, and just want to talk to just another similarly like-minded, regular old human being, feel free to hit me up, if you ever need a break to just... talk. I love how Matt's thumbnails aren't fake

Couple of things; 1) did you know that "Billy the Kid" is actually incorrect? During his life he was referred to as "The Kid" in newspapers, which he fed the papers stories about himself. After his death the papers were reporting about Billy, comma, The Kid. After that he's been referred to as Billy the Kid. Punctuation is very important. 2) The "fact" about July 4th is completely false. The colonies didn't declare independence in the 4th, it was the 2nd when Congress approved the Declaration. The only thing that happened on July 4th, was John Hancock signing the Declaration and he was the only one to do so. A month later, August 2nd more of the signers showed and signed. A few more come and in October the final signature was added. 3) Independence wasn't won until 1782, or 1783, so celebrating in July doesn't make any sense. The final battle of the war was fought in Virginia at Fort William on September 11th and it was won by a 16 year old girl.
