Actually no, if they're serious they'll stop entertaining all this ridiculous bluster and not throw away an 80m pound asset who was one of the best in Europe before he joined us. Erik's handling of the whole thing was the most un-serious, 'I desperately want to look stronger than I am' bullshit. Carrying that on with the next manager is not the behaviour of a serious club.

Matic organised a committee where they’d fine players who were late and Sancho was the main culprit. ten Hag had the bollocks to deal with him. He was given multiple chances to up his standards, to improve as a professional footballer. These guys are paid astronomical wages and bonuses, I think the very least they could do would be to turn up on time and train in the proper fashion. Dead wood is dead wood at the end of the day. Your point about sir Alex is kind of mute also. He did indeed dig people out on multiple times in public, Jaap Stam, Roy Keane, are 2 huge names that he did it to. Let alone many more. United need a whole sale clear out over 4 to 6 transfer windows. ETH needs complete backing for at least another season. Let him see out his contract with Ineos at the helm and then reassess.

I’ve said this too and I’m absolutely serious. If ten Hag is sacked and Sancho returns to buddy up with Rashford (when both should be the first out of the door for how they’ve treated this club) then I’m done. It will tell me everything I need to know about INEOS - that they value player power over the club ultimately progressing. If they weren’t English they’d be goners.

Casemiro has got to cover acres of spaces when we’re off the ball due to poor positional structure of the team both on and off the ball. Yes he’s not the the player he once was and he’s not so good on the ball but his struggles this season is down to the way the team is set up. He’s just a scapegoat due to the position he plays and how passionate he is about tackling.

Mainoo is on 10k a week until 2027, we should offer him 50k until 2028, let’s not get giddy, we want to show him what he means to us but let’s think like a business, he’s played about 20 games for us, he is fantastic. But we realistically don’t have to go into contact talks with him for another 2 years , this is a reward for doing what he does and being a part of the first team. That’s 5 x his wage for the sake of a year added onto his current contract.

I’d rather keep Antony than have them bring Sancho back as at least he looks like he’s putting in a bit of effort. I don’t think he’s ever had a incredible motm performance back to back in a red shirt. Also top of the transfer list for me would be his mate Rashford as I’m serious disappointment in him this season. He’s put out more statements than good performances on the pitch this season. he just looks like he doesn’t give a crap about the club and being a Manchester lad who’s now not a kid he should be one of the leaders and showing a good example to the younger lads. The club under the new era should back ETH just to show the players they don’t have the power to get yet another manager sack due to their lack of lazy and unprofessional attitude. Because if they do end up getting someone else and let the players off yet again we will just have the same issue in two years if we don’t get rid of the players with the bad attitude.

The common denominator is Ten Hag, not Sancho. Ten Hag has had fall outs and insubordination from multiple players, Sancho was the only one to stand up for himself publically after being publically criticised.
