@@workindad yep, the main reason people complain about Australia's heat more then other countries is due to the fact that Australia and New Zealand have the highest UV levels in the world a UV index of 11 is classed as extreme, some parts of Australia will hit a UV index of 17, because of this the sun has more of a burning feeling to it and can cause sun burn in a little over 10mins during summer as well as high cancer rates.

SD the reason it "feels" different is 1, the humidity is different. 2, is a lot of people in the UK do not have air-conditioning (reverse cycle). And 3, the "houses" (more like townhouses or duplexes) are built for winter not summer "heatwave" (more like humidity waves) This is why the poms struggle in humidity, but 30 Celsius heat is the same as here as it is there and we also have humidity here and they'd totally feel like dying if they felt it.

@@swansong5960 we have way more smaller spiders than we do larger ones im not sure where your from but where i live wold spiders dont get very big and the larger ones i see while yes i agree arent very dangerous venom wise we have so many smaller ones that out number them and i think it was africa that has the largest spider to live today

@@leviathan3525 Brisbane Rangers area in Vic. I don't know the statistics but every country has far more smaller spiders than big ones. The point is we do have plenty of big ones and I see them all the time. Everytime I go and cut wood I see some freaking monsters. Some huntsmens and wolf but also other non descript bark and scrub dwelling ones.

Knowing my luck I'd reset that record within 30 mins of being in Australia. I'd finally be famous!

Masks (even if you have a medical exemption -- which was almost impossible to get), madatory check-ins even when Cov wasn't an issue, being locked in your home, being locked in your local government area, not having any freedom of medical choice, not being able to ask questions; be them medical or political in relation to Cov and policies, new laws that give police and government dictator like power, people in the community turning against eachother due to government and media fear campaigns... There are so many more. Basically anyone in Australia who says life didn't change is obviously part of the problem. What has happened over the last 2 years in Australia will affect our culture and society for decades to come.
