Fun Video. But i beg to differ. Elegance is ALL about the exterior sophistication. Internal human defaults are normal, and natural - like envy, jealousy, and drama comes from inside. Corrections should be- An Elegant woman has the Finesse to control her human traits shortcomings, if not growing from it, but at least have the master of not making them overt.

Mine too. She came from a family of 11, during The Depression. My grandmother and all of her children are effortlessly elegant. My mother and father drilled manners and etiquette into my brothers and me, starting young. They wanted us to be able to comfortably navigate every social situation. I thought it was frivolous and ridiculous until I hit adulthood, and passed those lessons to our 28year-old son. A couple of years ago, he thanked me profusely after noticing the social awkwardness in many situations, and the lack of even table manners within his peer group. He actually receives compliments from older folks, or people assume he comes from much-wealthier than his middle-class upbringing, because sadly, he is often an anomaly. I think true elegance actually ensures the comfort of everyone around you...It is not a weapon to show any sort of superiority.

You should do a class for the women who have anger issues or grew up in a bad environment, thus leading them to have more of a fight or flight response. I would take that in a heart beat.

I come from exactly that and it’s possible to break. Change your mindset cliché as it sounds red books like vibrate higher daily and more that will reinforce a different mindset and daily habits, follow, engage, and surround yourself with people you do want to be like. The same way conditioning is taught it can be undone is what I’ve found. So basically our everyday environment created the life we want to break so constantly shove the life you want down your throat lol with books, even a lock screen that reminds you of your goals, changing your crowd and eventually all that & a little more rubs off in you the same way negativity and bad habits did. Hope this helps 🖤🖤✨✨✨

That is why Meghan Markle is not truly elegant. She has 3 PR firms working full time trying to make her and Harry seem important. They advertise, throughout the world, anything they do for charity, rubbing it in everyone’s faces. They are not really an authority on anything and are constantly telling others how to live their lives.

Remember, elegance does not come overnight, it takes years to know the rules, to internalize them, and to make them your own. Don't be fake or try to force yourself to be a certain way that you are not yet, take your time, meditate on the precept in front of you, and do the next right thing. Do not be impatient with yourself.

Exactly this. Many also fail to realize that any amount of “followers” =/= class or status. I would equate this to pie crust popularity; easily made & easily broken. Money can absolutely buy things that could make it easier to achieve a higher social standing… but if you fail to continue to educate yourself as you rise up that social ladder 🪜, the fall from grace will be a swift- & probably painful- one. Stay safe out there, be blessed!!🤓🤘🏽💋🔮⚖️

Happy I came across this. I can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that being elegant,classy,respectful and humble is indeed a good thing. I was always ridiculed and made feel less by many women and men for respecting myself. I was never a follower, always had my own Elegance and it is ok. I was always naturally Elegant even growing up,school didn't even teach me that and well my family taught me somethings too but I just always felt I behaved differently. I can say it was instinctive.

Very true. Especially when it comes to someone's behavior. Understanding that everyone is going through something and someone's poor behaviour that seems to be directed towards you, very often is just a reflection of what they're going through. Now you make it clear that it’s not what defines us, and it’s not meant to show off and look down on others. It’s an upgrade to our life, it brings us joy. Bravo Anna, I’m enjoying your content even more because I feel like you bring depth to the transformation journey. But considering that less than 2 months ago she uploaded what essentially was a bullying video about Zara, I still think she has a long way to go. May not be for everyone, but to whoever wants to keep becoming better version of themselves, Anna's vids definitely have lots of great reminder. In Puerto Rico (and I wonder if in Spain as well?), you can tell how people perceive you by if they address you as “dama” (high class or just educated or both) or “señora” (not either or both). I always address everyone as Dama-I wouldn’t dare address anyone as señora. But once a woman snapped at me and said something like, “I’m not a dama, I’m a señora. Unlike you, I’m not educated.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I had to respect her honesty.
@angelabayern
@angelabayern 2 жыл бұрын
Here in Spain you address women with "Señora", it has nothing to do with the studies or social class, it is respect to all no matter what. In old times, "doña" meant that you have some studies but that is not applicable anymore.

Thank you so much for the advice! ❤️ I'm a teen and it really is a gift to learn about true elegance from you, in a world that unfortunately defines beauty as outward or external only. I feel the majority of teens tend to go in the direction of trying to be cool, wasting their youth by focussing only on their outward look but not on the heart. True beauty however encompasses elegance, respect, politeness, étiquette and so much more.

1. Elegant women are not desperate for men, friends, attention etc. 2. Elegant women show others respect (etiquette, manners..) are compassionate and humble 3. Elegant women do not do drama (if so we pick our fights) 4. Elegant women are not mean- jealous (but use positive-jealousy for our own motivation) 5. Elegant women are not obsessed about luxury and materialistic things but get our value from inside 6. Elegant women communicate clearly and refined (we keep our mind open) 7. Elegant women celebrate their unique personality instead of copying others 8. Elegant women celebrate others differences and do not look down on modesty 9. Elegant women give back to society (i.e. charity/ volunteering) 10. Hello to everyone I listen this bc it’s very honest instruction coming from a stranger so there’s no personal association to anyone. I’m 66 and I had no upbringing except by my sisters who also didn’t have a Mother to coach, teach, guide. We’re all in a journey Andy hopefully never done learning until our time is done. We need to work on ourselves, our spirit, soul, character traits before we look outside at others. None of us are together all the time. I say, take time to go in with your problem. Write it down what your thoughts and feelings are so you may come to an understanding of the situation that you truly understand, not your friend, sister or co worker. If it happened to you, then you have the true pic. Take time to sort issues out I. A beautiful place away from distractions, interruptions, and be with yourself. It’s so necessary to grow bc we’re always becoming someone new while we’re growing wiser. God bless you

I really appreciate this, especially when it comes to being open minded to those who are different. I truly despise people who show off and or look down on others due to financial and social status.

I love how Anna points out that at some point in our lives we damage ourselves & that we need to take responsibility for it & work on ourselves. A lot of people point the finger at others for their misfortune, but at the end of the day, the only way one can overcome the past is to take responsibility for where they are right now & know the way to improve is to work on yourself. When we do that everything else will fall into place.

Thank you for empowering women and trying to bring elegance to the world. The reality is that people have become too casual, too crass, and do not take care of themselves. We must set a good example for the future generation!

I feel like I strived to be classy since I became an adult, but I find myself slipping back into starting drama and not caring about how I come across or how I look. Depression. However, I am naturally drawn towards elegance and want to get rid of this bitterness within me from depression. I was raised to be classy and it seems I have lost myself within the last few years with who I used to be and how I was taught to be. It's within me, I just have to get back to it and this video has helped so much. I will get back to my true self now, a classy person with my morals again, and do better for myself and others. Thank you so much for helping me.

I like that she spoke about people who don't want to live an elegant life and just find joy in the basic things of life. That really resonates with me. I don't think I want to be "elegant" but I do pick and learn a lot of things from what she has said. Like learning how to chanel your jealousy into something positive or working on yourself and knowing what you want. I mean every lady should embrace that💯💯 But personally I want and love to enjoy life in a carefree manner without having to worry about breaking "some rules that show class"
