It is possible. When I was in the Vatican, I was fortunate to have a private tour with a Latin scholar who took me to places that ordinary people don't get to see.

I just got back from 11 days in Italy on a pilgrimage with Corpus Christi church in Bonita California. Loved it. Awesome Catholic history. Beautiful Churches. Loved the 🍷 wine!

The Vatican is so beautiful. Was there in 2019. On a beautiful pilgrimage with the Journey Home. I enjoyed it so much.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Another great fact is the Pieta by Michelangelo is the only digned scultpture. He never signed any of this other sculptures but he felt drawn to the work and final piece to the Pieta (Mary holding the dead Christ) that he signed it. The Pieta sits in the Vatican City.

Proud to be catholic AND Italian …🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹✝️✝️✝️ we’re simply the best Been to Rome so many times every time I Went to Italy I went to Rome So if one goes to the Vatican museum and looked at each painting for 1 minute it will take 11 years to see them all Just stupendous It’s known as the eternal city 🇮🇹 Been to mass at the Vatican so many times 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Father, I'm going to bring a picture to mass on Wednesday that my sister took while at the colleseum. I'm off work Wednesday so I can come to mass with John. This picture says it all. You'll see ❤🤗 God is great, and his beloved son saved us.

My wife and I were there in 2008, an it was a fantastic visit as part of our Italy vacation. The Basilica, the Altar, the art museum, the grandeur, Pietá, Sistine Chapel, etc. Every Roman Catholic should try to visit once in their life.

I’ve had Montezuma’s Revenge more times than I care to admit. Every time I go to Mexico I bring Imodium with me because I know I’m going to need it. I’m not sure why but “Pull down your eye patch,” made howl. 😂🤣😂 I also agree that Catholics should be allowed to be Dual Citizens of The Vatican and our Country of Origin.

I've been to Vatican twice. One in 2021 and one 4 months ago and I was a few feet away from the Pope as he passed by in his Popemobile during a general audience. I think of Italy almost every day. I hope to go back again🙏🏻🤍 I love this episode by the way! Thank you.

Thanks all! Great show. I have the privilege of working with the Bridgettine Sisters at their Convent here in Columbus, Ohio and I believe Saint Catherine of Siena was inspired by their foundress, Saint Bridget of Sweden to get the pope back to Rome. After Bridget’s death Catherine persevered. If you are in Columbus, please let me know as I know the Bridgettine sisters would love to welcome you to the convent; where heaven meets earth!

In my studies of political institutions, the Vatican is indeed a state but not a nation. It is not a country compared to the meaning of nationhood or "country."

The Pope has been presented with many football jerseys, each one a legend of the sport; just Messi's jerseys alone could cover a whole wall. In the Vatican Museum, there are jerseys signed by the entire Argentine team after winning the World Cup. In 2006, UEFA expressed a welcome for the Vatican to join, but at that time, Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone responded that the Vatican football team would only develop in the amateur game. Perhaps he was concerned about the game becoming too commercialized.

Good Day to all, I am asking for prayers... I was diagnosed with "C" and will have to undergo surgery. SO far no chemo/radiation.
