WWE did everything to make sure Blue Meanie didn't sue them for JBL ....doubled his pay for the night, paid his hospital fees, gave him a good paying short term contract and the spot where Stevie Richards destroyed JBL with the chair shot(not sure if it was meant to be an unprotected shot) but in so many interviews Stevie admits he hit JBL as hard as he could

Even as a kid watching wrestling, it drove me nuts how Hogan could never get out of the way when someone else was over. He was very fast to grab a chair and drill someone with it as well. It was confusing to see the "good guy" act like a baby when he lost too.

How he basically helped Flair eliminate Sid from the Royal Rumble was puzzling. Then WWF had a "press conference" to announce the #1 challenger for the WWF Title, with mega-over Sid and Undertaker at the table... And the name that came up was Hulk Hogan. Even the kid that I was, this seemed like monster BS at the time!

Honestly, Ahmed Johnson was quite unsafe in the ring. He hurt at least two or three wrestlers back then, usually with his Pearl River Plunge. That's why it took him a while to find work after WWF released him, and when he did it was for a very short feud with Booker T...over the letter 'T'. See, Johnson was using the name Big T back then. Among the all time worst reasons for wrestlers to feud.

Only good goldberg match. At least that was my opinion watching the streak from day one unfold. Honestly I felt this match made sense as a kid. Pure wrestler vs powerhouse. Everyone else had tried to match strength and size up until then. Nobody had tried to just wrestle him. Its really a shame Goldberg complains about this match. Before this i had zero respect for Goldberg, afterwards I felt he had truly earned this victory. And yes I was aware wrestling is a work.

The Regal/Goldberg story will always be a weird one. Other people who worked for WCW at the time swear that Regal didn't want to do the job for Goldberg and made that clear to everyone... but when I watched the match, I don't see someone who didn't want to job. I see someone who was trying his best to have a decent wrestling match with an opponent who couldn't really wrestle. Add to this, the commentary began the damn thing putting over how experienced of a wrestler Regal was and that this would be a real test for Goldberg. Now if Goldberg was supposed to squash Regal like anyone else, why the hell did the commentators act like otherwise before the match even began? And then through the match, they were trying to praise even the smallest actual wrestling move Goldberg managed to perform as him finding new offense and growing as a wrestler... which perfectly matches the narrative of the aim being for Goldberg to expand his arsenal. From what I heard Regal say in an interview, Goldberg actually choked early in the match and forgot what move he was supposed to do so Regal just tried to improvise and make something out of the disaster until Goldberg was able to get into a spot to Spear him and then hit the Jackhammer (both moves, Regal took without showing any visible reluctance and he wasn't no-selling stuff, so again... I can't believe he was unwilling to do the job). WCW seemed to think that Regal made Goldberg look bad in the match and that's why they fired him.

You never miss an opportunity to douche about Hogan. You don't seem to remember Ric Flair putting the NWA title on Barry Windham.

Hmmmm Puke Hogan That’s a way to get around using the extra part I just call him Hogan since there’s only two people that I call Hulk and their names are Bruce and Jennifer NOT Hogan

And I'm probably in the minority on this but the belt swap while watching it I thought Becky was the one doing wrong trying to grab the raw title and not let go of the smackdown title

Hogan lost at WM 6 partly because he was off to shoot a movie. So, that whole “he had no choice to lose”…it was partly his OWN decision, believe it or not. He even basically said (paraphrasing to get the gist) “Yeah. Give it to Hellwig. Let’s see what he’s got.”

Imo the worst thing Bob holly ever did wasn't even a beating, it was the "suplex" to Al snow. When you look back on it, it's an absolutely disgusting thing to do and I don't get how it was seen as a joke

Is that the legend of the penis suplex? The on that Mick Foley described in his book as it looked like an egg in a raggedy birds nest and Bob held him in the suplex and Al didn't know that he had hooked and pulled his gear over exposing his sausage and eggs.
