Hello, I’m so happy I came up to your channel. I’ve been looking to set up my bullet journal separately from my agenda( daily logs) journal and I was overwhelm by the initial set up itself! Your videos helped me separate all the collections I want to add in my bullet journal and I’m so grateful for you! Thank you for all you do to make our life a little bit sweeter. Much appreciated 💖 from a friend

Thank you so much for filming this video Erin!! It was exactly what I needed today and I'm in love with your Mood Lettering!!! I am sooo going to do that in my March spread even though I absolutely cannot do any fancy lettering like you have. That is one of my intentions for 2020, to learn how to do faux calligraphy, bouncy lettering, etc. and I can't wait!! Again, thank you so much .. this came at the perfect time for me!!! 😀

Regarding your comments with the self-care bingo and excluding the social aspect because socialising makes you anxious, perhaps that's all the more reason to add the social aspect? I'm an introvert too but I don't feel social anxiety to the degree you seem to, so the following might not be spot on in detail for you but the idea is still there... So for example if socialising is a trigger for anxiety but (I'm assuming) you still have to socialise either at work or for any other reason, your social self-care bingo column might include things such as schedule a 'get me outta here call' for an event, take (and use) a stress ball to a social meeting, start a social anxiety meditation challenge, take your dog to an event (so you can cuddle and concentrate on your dog to manage your anxiety), etc. Maybe you'll want to add a self-care activity that is also a bit challenging, such as go to a meeting under controlled conditions (meeting up with a (one) close friend in a public (but not overcrowded) location, or join a social anxiety support group, for example) with the intention to work on your anxiety, if that's something you'd like to do. Thank you for the video, btw, really interesting study and will definitely be incorporating some ideas into this month's journalling.

Love this 10 types of self care ideas for journal video! Could you do 10 types of bujo/productivity pages for people who are not planners? I tried using daily layouts ,weekly layouts, and habit trackers, but assigning tasks to certain days does not work for me. I like the idea of selfcarebingo, I am thinking of trying that along with productivitybingo which is saw as a hashtag on Instagram. I am also thinking of trying KZfaqr's Jordan Page block schedule system, which she has a video about. Or maybe a monthly goal list/calendar and/or brain dump list by category like self-care would work.

Just use checklists? The point of bullet journaling is to customize it. I work very poorly with dailies, because I'm extreme planner and if I have something planned for 3:00 and start at 3:10 my day is basically ruined. Which is why I avoid time blocking of any kind. Instead I use weekly or monthly with a few (max 3-4) tasks a day. Works much better for me.

I always wanted to ask you Erin, when or at what point of the day do you write down your mood (for the mood lettering specifically) because I feel like I go through soo many moods throughout the day that I wouldn't know which one I'd want to record. Hope I put my point across clearly 😆

Letti Lopes I usually do the one that was the most overwhelming to me for that day. There are many times that I will do multiple each day 🥰

TL;DR maybe try tracking daily or weekly overviews with the day in sections or switch to recording whether it was a good day or a bad day without going into ur specific mood. or try tracking individual moods on seperate yearly graph if you're tracking for mood disorders. -------------------------------------------------- if you use daily planning i'd suggest adding in a little graph in each day that you might fill in one mood per 'section of day' (like morning, afternoon, evening). cuz its only the sections of the day you can fill it all at the end of the day it won't be too hard to remember??? idk. in my journal i don't specifically track my mood, but i rate everyday on a certain system: really great, good, fine/neutral, bad & really terrible day. you could consider that instead of tracking your mood specifically like having to generalise down to were you mad, happy or sad or whatever. i prefer to look at my mood over the whole month because i like seeing the cyclical nature of it & if you do this as well i'd suggest not tracking different moods during the day cuz i know it'd stress me out trying to consolidate that to a month ahhhhh if you're tracking for a mood disorder then i'd suggest mb set up a graph (kinda like the year in pixels layout if you've seen that) & fill in the box if you felt a symptom of that disorder like extremely sad or extremely angry or anxious etc etc even if the day was overall 'good'. i suffer from depression so i use this layout to track when i'm feeling absolutely rubbish & it gives me a good overview for how the year goes ie. i usually struggle the most towards the end of the year/start of summer in my country. NOTE: i personally love graphs so much it is so much more fulfilling to me than colouring in a cute mood tracker idk why but basically if you're into cute mood trackers disregard everything i've said because i have no idea how to use those effectively.

Are you generally concerned about how fast you are using pages in your journal? Or just concerned when doing demonstrations of various layouts? I see many bullet journalists moving to use more expensive journals for paper weight reasons. These journals have fewer papers. It seems as the journals become more expensive the more constrained users become in the number of pages used for notes, lists, collections, etc. Doesn't this kind of defeat the purpose of bullet journaling as a place to document and plan life freely? I realize everyone has their own take on bullet journaling but still I am curious if anyone else has noticed this.

Carolyn Langdon not this one. I use this one for the practice pages. It was gifted to me by Archer and Olive so I’m not super worried about it. But between these videos and my Etsy listings, I’ve been using a lot of pages 😊 I use Archer and Olive notebooks because it is the best I’ve ever used and don’t feel the need to constrain myself. I use the notebooks for the opportunity to use multiple mediums as well as use my task list and collections freely
