Also, Germany will be surpassing the UK by the end of this decade, meaning the UK will be 9-10th strongest in the world. And lastly, the MI5 and MI6 are in no way as powerful as the FBI and CIA, that has to be some kind of joke, the NSA and DOD and CIA all have way more resources and global power.

Even though it's well known throughout the top militaries how good the British are to this day, also I'm American myself and have family members that are currently in the military and older relative's that served years ago. And yes of course it's well known that the US has far more resources and reach than anyone in the world. The British and Americans share and use each other to gather information. And yes it's about time that Germany stepped up they should be in the top 5 militaries in the world already but have been far to passive. I will be happy to see Germany the most powerful nation in Europe rise up and create a strong European military that will help strengthen NATO. I consider Saudi Arabia an under developed nation as even though it is a very wealthy country it's laws on equality and the treatment of women are very archaic. To answer your first question there were 2.5 billion journeys on public transport made in the UK last year so I would say that millions of people rely on it regularly. I agree with you that the standards on busses, metros, trains and even public roads are substandard in Britain and so is the service by many of the drivers and transport staff. But let’s be completely honest they are over worked and underpaid as are many of the sectors in the UK. This is the governments fault as they continually mismanage the country and undermine its natural resources to the extent of negligence. For example the Prime minister has declared today that he will make it mandatory for people in England to study math until the age of 18 years old, this is unenforceable as the education systems curriculum in England can only instruct mandatory learning until the age of 16 years old. This shows the incompetence from the government and the prime minister from a high level. This lesson is £1.50 as mentioned before I will be charging, I hope that you had an enjoyable evening. Tempest is now a joint programme with Japan and Italy for a 6th Gen fighter. We did a tech demonstrator in the 90's. That's how we become a tier 1 partner on F-35.. we proved we had the stealth knowledge to the Yanks. The UK will never make a jet fighter again on it's own sadly.

@@death_parade just listing things that are similar to what the brits have does not make you as technically advanced as them. india buys cheap products from russia that are not even comparable to what the UK and other western countries are developing. Do you really think that your subs are comparable to vanguard class subs when even the US admits that the UK is the best manufacture of stealth subs. The HAL AMCA Mk2 is a fifth gen fighter and tempest will be a 6-th gen fighter. The problem with using scamjets to get over mach 5 is that communicating with the missile becomes almost impossible (due to plasma generated), its not manuverable due to its high speed and its not stealth because of its high heat signature. Due to peacetime, the idea is that most of the money goes onto R&D and not into the army - focusing on highly skilled teams like the SAS and SBS. This is the problem india has, they need to spend alot on their big army because they aren't really at peacetime at the moment so less money can be spent on R&D. Also, the UK armed forces have alot more experience in combat than india.

Do you know what steel is used for Indian submarines? It is DMR292A, a special grade developed in India and now manufactured at Rourkela, India. It has a yield strength of between 700 and 1000 MPa. This is in the same class as the HY-100 and HY-130 steels (690 and 900 MPa respectively) that started being used in the American Nuclear Submarines relatively recently from the Seawolf class onwards. Meanwhile, where is UK? It does make superior submarines but the steel for them is not even made in the UK (as per Viscount Younger of Leckie who asked this question in the House of Commons at 2:30 pm on 30 November 2021). Let me give you another example: The Low-Nickel High-Nitrogen Steel used in manufacturing of the hull of the Arjun Mk1A tank has superior ballistic performance and lower weight compared to the RHA steel on Challenger 2 tank. (Even though I agree that the Arjun Mk1A is inferior to the Challenger 2, the aforementioned fact on materials remains true i.e. Indian material used is better). Mainly aircraft, the only jet India has ever built is the HAL tejas which rely on a cheap American engine and wouldn't pose any threat to most other fighter jets around the world, even chinese ones.
