10 year old pond...FIRST TIME RUNNING?!!!

I met the client for the first time when I did this video.
The pond was built almost 11 years ago but after the client built the pond all himself...other things took over and the pond was put on the back burner... for 10 years!! The initial filtration that was installed has been ripped out and replaced with Nexus 320's! So today was the first time in 10 years the pond has ever had Koi in it! Amazing.
The pond is 5200 gallons running on 2 bottom drains connected to 2 x Nexus 320's. 4 returns and running back in via a 110 EVO UV.
2x 20,000 Evo Varipumps running the system.
Such a stunning pond and a great setting to relax and enjoy the Koi, which the client will be doing from now!!

If you have a pond without a side view glass and without a middle aerator, that would be really a dream pond, actually koi are enjoyed from above, with their graceful movements and beautiful paintings on their backs and enjoyed in clear water without the obstruction of air bubbles in the middle of the pond....nice pond, always fell in love with the traditional pool, unboxed and without side glass windows ...superb...please more videos with garden ponds like this...... ❤️❤️🙏

Very nice Backyard Pond. I have performed a Pond Restoration on the Backyard Pond my Dad has at his house. It is over 25 years old. I made it bigger and rebuilt his Waterfall. Also a D.I.Y Filter. It was very enjoyable, so watching this video was a great pleasure and very enjoyable. Thank you very much for sharing.

Brilliant pond Tim amazing that it woz left all that time and would of cost a fortune even when it woz built and loads of time but brought right up to date now I’m sure there will be some stunning big koi in there in the next couple of years for sure

I prefer the filters hidden under the decking. Wonderful pond. Great detail. Lovely waterfall. What do the owners have to deter herons or cats from feasting on these fish?

I don’t mind that idea, if it was a bigger pond but 5200 gallons on 2 drains and 2 Nexus really wouldn’t need it.
