Let's see what a 1000Nm right angle impact wrench from Aliexpress can do. Is it a good investment for 70EUR for the bare tool?
Testing with the battery it comes with and with a 8Ah Parkside battery.

I have seen these and always thought if I should get one. 200Nm is fine for me and thank you for the video. I think I will order one.

It is nice. But use it with a decent battery and you will get a lot more out of it.

I am impressed that it worked with those cables. In future if you do something like this, do not use such thin cables.

I had not thought it through. These were the thickest cables I could find in that situation. Had I planned for this test I would have bought better suited cables. But I am alive so that is a plus I guess 😂

Nice testing! In a decade, these kinds of tools will hopefully have an integrated torque measurement auto-stop. That would be cool. Save needing a breaker bar - cordless ratchet - torque wrench setup

@@BrokeLifeEU Maybe Hytorc or some other specialist company would be the first to make it happen, they already have a battery high torque fastening tool with selectable preset for assembly. I think measuring torque reliably and accurately onboard on an impact gun is a huge issue, otherwise we would already have such a thing!

Then again with the way planned obsolescence is going, in 10 years cars may end up being 100% non-serviceable blocks of 3d printed aluminium and plastic so we won't have any need for mechanic tools whatsoever 😭

Unfortunately it does but the Parkside batteries are miles ahead in terms of power and charging times. Have you tried it yet?

Yes I have tried it and it’s good enough for my needs , I did buy an adapter for the x20 batteries and sold the supplied batteries to a friend for his makita site radio 😁

Mine arrived today , 5 days only from ordering it , I bought with 2 batteries and charger , the charger is only 1.2ah so it’s going to take a long time to charge the battery 😢 but i think i will find a Makita to Parkside battery adapter and see how it performs with the smart batteries

You will feel a difference with the Parkside batteries. Both in power and charge time. The ones that come with these are horrible!

I have ordered one of these with the 2 battery and charger as I don’t have any makita batteries,, hope works well

If you get an adaptor and use a Parkside Battery you will still get a lot more out of it. Plus you can use a Parkside fast charger, the one that comes with this tool is quite slow. But I think all things considered you will like it. It makes it easy to get an impact type tool in to some tight spaces and that is all that it is for.

@@BrokeLifeEU do you know what ah battery comes with the tool ? I will probably get and adapter as I have loads of Parkside batteries,, one thing I have all the Parkside chargers but I prefer to use the slow 2.4ah chargers even on my 8ah batteries , I feel like it gives it a better charge!!! In fact I never use the 12a smart charge ,, but I do have enough batteries for whatever I need to do

I believe it was something like 4Ah. However the cells they use are extremely weak and as you can see in the video there is a huge difference between the native cells and the Parkside battery that I use later on. With the battery it comes with you can use it for undoing 150Nm on a regular basis, but with a Parkside battery 200Nm or more is not out of the question at all!

I did open a Chinese makita clone battery. The cells are cheap and have limited discharge current....

The tool itself it pretty good for the money. I am curios how they manage to transmit the rotation to the anvil without loosing much torque as I imagine that the motor is a standard brusheless they use in all impacts at the same power and price range...

Yes, the cells inside are a disaster. With a proper battery I can see myself using this for sure!
