As a 44 year old 10p white belt, watching these battles gives me a goal to strive towards. Love what Eddie Bravo has done and continues to do.

Damn these new 10p batch are wrestlerly. Was expecting butt scooting and hubber guardtch

10P Ventura and riverside are both places to learn some good wrestle Jitsu. If Scott Ross was coaching with 10P Pasadena you’d definitely see some more cheek scooting. Scott is a big rubber guard player.

Rather watch these scrappy purple belts than boring ass blackbelts

Camera man has got to stop shoving that thing right in a guy's face when he loses. Give the man a second.

Ah… to be young with fresh joints again. Is there weight class separation for these team duals?

Dang, I was hoping Monty was gonna pull off something crazy. It was starting to get there towards the end, but a little too late

Are they not allowed to hit toeholds?

It look like the guy in grey had the arm bar at the beginning but since he didn’t want to injure him the guy in black was able to get out.

I don’t get why none of these guys don’t blast double anyone. Watching these guys any of them could get it easy.

first match needs to work on positional holding/grinding more instead of spamming sub attempts. a little more investment in holding position to set up the sub goes a long way.

Well a lot of it is the same guys 9 months later 😂 The difference is there but maybe not super obvious at all times.

Wrestlers have nose plugs. About an inch and a half long, and they get buried up the nose.

@@mikeymouse3941 if I was in Russia I wouldn't. I found a good trainer and everyone was supportive of me, I'd say I found my bjj tribe. I even practiced with female european champion in grappling in Kalmykia. I did judo in Germany without knowing German and I was fine.
@The_Brew_Dog4 ай бұрын
That’s quite the defeatist attitude. You can either prove yourself right or prove yourself wrong, I guess it’s up to you,

I found my BJJ tribe in Russia. I had an amazing trainer in Fabricio franchise. In the US idk I don't fit in and cannot find right for me place to train. No worries, I'm Russian-American and I'm a woman. Resilience is a story of my life. I never give up, but I don't chase belts. I love BJJ as an art form. I have books and dummy, that's how I learn plus BJJ diary.

They're not that good. Focus on developing your defense and pick a couple of submissions you feel most comfortable with and focus on those. You'll be about as good as some of these blue belts I"ve seen in these duals.

Wtf, hows that fair? Dude did 10 straight minutes of rolling then had to fight some dude who was fresh? Lol
