----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In a nutshell:
You need to eat the right food, for proper nutrition and energy to thrive through the muscle building process. It becomes important to consume foods that help you to build muscle mass. This includes protein-rich foods, combined with essential carbohydrates and fats to fuel you during the workouts. Eggs are the perfect protein source;it also contains healthy fats and other essential nutrients such as Vitamin B and choline.
Proteins found in eggs do help in increasing strength and muscle building, but there are other substances in it that contribute equally. Egg yolk contains cholesterol (dietary cholesterol) that does not increase the blood cholesterol levels; it helps the bodybuilders to have a balanced diet. Vitamin B present in eggs, assists various processes in the body that helps in the production of energy. Eggs also contain amino acids that enhance muscle recovery and other essential minerals like zinc, iron and calcium.
Keeping muscle building in mind, beef is the best food that one must add to its diet. Beef is essential for muscle building, specifically because of its high-protein content. Other essentials include amino acids, Vitamin-B and Creatine, which plays an important role in increasing muscle mass. Individuals doing weight training exercises to gain muscle mass can increase the benefits by consuming a high protein diet, such as beef.
However, if you want to gain muscles, it is important that you consume beef that helps muscle building by supplying less calories. It helps in reducing the fat content in the body and gaining muscle mass. Additionally, beef also contains saturated fats that help to maintain healthy testosterone levels. Vitamins, thus consumed, enhance the body functions effectively and assist in the muscle building process.
Studies also show that consuming a high-protein diet also helps to burn more fats and prevent muscle loss during workouts or training. It is rich in high-quality protein and also contains a long chain of omega-3 fats such as DHA and EPA. Additionally, it also helps in the muscle synthesis or breakdown process by increasing the anabolic ability of the amino acids. Eating foods like salmon shall help you to increase the omega-3 fatty acid content in your body.
It helps to maintain lean muscle mass and enhances the muscle building processes during workouts or training. Cottage Cheese is a popular food among heavy weight trainers or individuals that workout to gain muscle mass. It is highly recommended for individuals looking to gain muscle mass, simply because of its high protein content. Protein filled diet is found to be very effective for muscle growth when combined with heavy weight training.
A major part of the cottage cheese is formed with casein, a very slow digesting dairy protein. These dairy products become the best source of high-quality proteins. According to a study, eating a mixture of fast and slow digesting proteins increases muscle gain and strength in an individual. Milk is a dairy product, which is a combination of protein, carbohydrates and fats.
Moreover, individuals that drink milk before and after heavy weight workouts are found to increase their muscle mass effectively.

This is not a joke, right? I saw Doctors, scientists, Nurses, Health & Wellness teachers die like flies. First of all: The three stages of nutrient breakdown are the following: Stage 1: Glycolysis for glucose, β-oxidation for fatty acids, or amino acid catabolism. Stage 2: Citric Acid Cycle (or Kreb cycle) Stage 3: Electron Transport Chain and ATP synthesis. What are the enzymes involved in protein metabolism? Endopeptidases are enzymes that add water to an internal peptide bond in a peptide chain and break that bond. Three common endopeptidases that come from the pancreas are pepsin, trypsin, and chymotrypsin. Chymotrypsin performs a hydrolysis reaction that cleaves after aromatic residues.2.- Human cytochrome P450 (CYP) , CYP3A4. Glad I'm not the only weight training advocate that favours a low carb diet. Carbs severely ramp up my excessive anxiety levels and that's from bread, baked beans, and even brown rice. My heart rate skyrocketed the last time I had brown rice, and the same happened with baked beans and sausage. I also get autistic rages after eating even sourdough bread and any foods really containing sugar (as well as sugar and carb crashes and a feeling of an empty stomach within a couple of hours). Now the issue is affording grass fed cattle meat, and finding all the products that haven't been intoxicated with sugar/dextrose. I love nearly all of those products mentioned (with the exception of rice and the high end carb products as I'm just not suited to them with my hyper sensory issues, sadly)although I'm dairy intolerant but do manage to eat edam cheese and a m & s block of mild cheese. Unsure about cottage cheese currently. I feel that more fish products could do with being mentioned as they are high in protein, fat and omega 3 sources. Most carb and sugar foods cause inflammatory problems with myself also and at 44, one has to make dietary adjustments to coincide with an ageing body but otherwise, (other than a groin issue - could be hernia but certain foods and combinations cause pain down there)I'm weight training 3x a week with a waist no bigger than 30" and I dance 2x a week as well as walk over 4hours a day with the job that I do. Although I'm not ketogenic, I'm fully in support of a lower carb diet, but perhaps this is more for myself and may not be suitable for everyone.

Work it(rip it) +feed it + rest it = growth. Gains don’t discriminate. It takes all three are equally important. They creatine would fall in the rest category as it hydrates the muscle with water is in repair I’d be the recovery process which is what the food also does helps with recovery. I just like 1+1+1 is three rip it plus faded plus rest =GAINS If consistency is going along with the three

@ BIGGUN3460 The only reason you sleep is so your body can recover, repair itself. Well rested is referring to your body has recovered well from every day leading up to that point in time. Your rest comes when you sleep that’s how you really recover I’m not referring to how many days in between working the same muscle. That would be an opinionated question and it’s whatever or however you feel I just make sure that your body’s getting good rest and make sure your body is getting good food. And you can’t overstress stretching and keeping your joints from being damaged trying to better the body.

What does a 82yr old Type 1 diabetic, do to strengthen his body, after 5years of inactivity (relatively). I do some minor resistance, and walking exercising, and have had a decent diet plan for 15yrs.. Not over weight. 5'5", 140lbs.. Lost 24Lbs. and can't get it back. Diagnosed diabetic in 1970, but, health minded.......What do I do???????

The only ones not on my list are cottage cheese and quinoa. I used to get the quinoa pasta but it's produced in the same facility where they have soy (well the brand I get).
