I hope you are all well!!
Late June, Michael, Clifford and I went camping on 2 Sinnis Akumas and 1 Honda Grom.
The plan was to go to:
Bala Lake - Shell island - Breacon Beacons - Back home.
No motorways, all A and B roads and beautiful country lanes.
We'll the trip didn't go as planned but I thought we'd take you along for the ride!!!

Had so much fun riding a Suzuki 125 as a loner. Put a massive smile on my dial. Rev the stuffing out of it to keep up to 90k/h down hill. Great vid.

Must be fun on them little bikes - 50mph limit by Bala on the road you were on with average speed cameras - best eating in one of the cafes in the town

You go on a lot ov my favorite roads lass and gang, go over to barmouth from balla some time , tiz good Plenty of camping , best beach in the uk 4 me , go autumn ish Get away with rideing on the beach round then !!

Not been on your channel for a while but just watched this and your Hayabusa test. Sorry to hear your not well and hope your feeling better soon. Love that you did a 125 tour. I used to ride 2 stroke 125s and passed my test on one. Loved them at the time. Not ridden a 4 stroke modern 125 but own a KTM 390 duke which is a blast and perfect for B roads. I think the 125 version might be a bit too slow at times though? Looking forward to part 2

Yea, the extra poke of a 390 is welcomed haha. It wasn't too bad for me but Mike struggled to make it move 🤣🤣🤣 part 2 is out and part 3 is out tomorrow too 😁

Great stuff! My 125 struggled with the hills. I switched to Euro 5 and it ran better so was able to hit 64ish. Am def going back. Think I found a relative still farming on the border🏴 (was funny because asked in the pub and the guy was like yeah theres a xxxx down the road, with the same name as my GGG Dad!). Its funny where we are from you can cross the border three times without trying. (I want to go Brecon+Snowdonia+Anglesey).

@@UsernameKate Tell Mike I feel his pain. Am 17 stone plus backpack n chain. I never actually used the damm chain! Next time will prob either camp or make sure get a garage. Plus tracker! Oh would be good to see a quick camping setup vid. What tent and how to attach etc. P.s My trip I covered all the counties we are from pretty much. Montgomeryshire/Radnorshire/Herefordshire/Gloucestershire and Shropshire! (Plus a few others closeby). I think for a lot of my ancestry they would have been unsure if they were Welsh or English. You drink in a Welsh pub one night and an English the next! Not that it matters😂(depends on the lasses and beer😎).

Who says you have to have the big bikes to have some fun, obviously not the SBC, can see this going nationwide 👍. I got talking to a guy up at Caton yesterday, he just bought the Benelli TNT 125, two of his mates have also got them and he said they were great fun, mind you it has to be an improvement on his vespa, anyway I'll have to get myself down to Wales where it rains chocolate, funny how it never did that when i was tabbing all over the Fan when i was in the army.

Hi Kate have you put you bell on your bike yet? Well looks like I’ll be fitting a bell on , yes I’ve bought a bike a Yamaha Fj1300 , only done 10,000 miles , 2019 model with the electric suspension in new condition , I’m still in shock , 64 and I’m back on bikes 👍🏍

I've just been 'camping' down to the Alps and Dolomite, I got home three weeks ago. I used a really special tent called, HOTELS! Lol. Sod peeing in a bucket! 🤣. I can't wait for the next instalment. By the way, are you ok now?🤒.

What's the speed limit on these A and B roads? :) And what do these bikes get up to? I really like the idea of not super powerful bikes. But when I had one, i struggled to do 90kph (the speed limit where I'm from). Then again, it was a few kW short from the maximum allowed in a1 category.

Is that the new 14.8 hp engine, rode the enduro at the ABR festival, it was great fun and the perfect bike for green laneing as only 130kgs

No, the 2022 Sinnis Akuma according to their website produces 9.7bhp. And it felt like it 🤣

@@UsernameKate Ours are a Cardo Freecom 4+ we bought a 2 pack, I am not sure what model our freind has but it physically looks the same.

This was the message from a friend which helped Mike connect them all: One of the bolds needs to pair to the freecom on channel B phone intercom mode. Then the freecom needs to be in universal pairing mode. Then when the bold and freecom are paired, go into DMC mesh between the two bolds and then finally press bridge to bring in the freecom. On the bold you'll hear it say cardo gateway if you're doing it on the buttons then hold the phone button on the freecom I think and I'll go into phone pairing mode. Much easier on the app though. We had 2 cardo bolds and a freecom. Thanks!
