This is an all levels 15 min yoga for menstrual cramps relief. This gentle period yoga sequence will help to stretch the abdomon, lower back, hips and groin helping to release tension and those achy period cramps and sensations you may experience within the lower body.
Yoga on your period is a beautiful way to honor yourself during this magical time while offering yourself natural pain relief for menstrual pain and aches. Our periods don't have to be something we dread, and can be seen as a reminder of our strength, sheading and allowing space for new.

Ive been struggling with really intense cramps these last two years. Whenever they start up, i just want to bundle into a ball and just cry they are so painful. Ill even get myself sick. Unfortunately today, I couldn’t find my heat pack, so instead of crying on the floor, i pulled up this video! It was definitely a struggle at first, but i just want to thank you for reminding me to breath. And i felt worlds better after your video! Thank you❤

I came here to see if anyone else cried the whole time too. I’m not even an emotional person normally but maybe I’m so used to having to toughen up and hide how I’m feeling so it felt really nice not to feel shamed somehow for being a woman in pain. You made me feel like it’s normal and ok rather than something attention seeking or an excuse to be lazy. Thank you!

My period is extremely irregular and gives me cramps leading up to my period and then severe cramps during the first few days. Yesterday I started and today the cramps are unbearable. This yoga felt like it pushed the cramps out and showed me how much I was holding in. I teared up a little at the end 😂 but this was a great reminder that my body is showing me what it’s capable of and I will be okay. ❤

I did this today, and it's lovely! You're right, it takes courage to do yoga when our bodies are in pain. It can be easier to want to escape and distract. But this is a lovely, nourishing sequence. Thank you Bird! 🤗

After taking birth control for 03 years; today I am having my period under a beautiful full moon and feeling again the divine feminine inside of me. The creativity, the emoticons, the spontaneity of like and the sensations of a new circle makes my heart and my mind very pleased. This practice was the perfect gift for a meaningful night in my year. Thanks Bird for it.

So just as others have said, I woke up this morning and thought oh no it’s a bad day for yoga, my period is far too bad. Then I thought well maybe I can do yoga in bed because it will at least help my back. Then this video popped up right at the top of my feed. For sure divine intervention. Thank you so much! I’ve been doing your videos a minimum of 4 times a week since January 2021. I had never done yoga before then. Your videos have helped me so much! I have endometriosis and psoriatic arthritis so I’m in a lot of pain constantly. Your videos help me manage my pain so much better! I appreciate all of your hard work, more than you know!

Something about lying down on a hard surface does wonders for my cramps, although they aren’t particularly bad (compared to other people’s) to begin with.

you just saved me with this video. have abnormal heavy period since yesterday. it’s 2 in the morning now and i couldn’t sleep any longer because i had so bad and heavy cramps. at some point i just layed on the bathroom floor and cried. then i decided to do this yoga session and i am feeling way better now. i will try to get back to sleep now. thank you so much for your help.

Thank you so much. I'm 50 and I've started taking progesterone, cyclical, to help regulate my cycle. This is my second month and it's definitely made a difference. No more spotting and waiting for it to start or getting all the pmt & then no period, it's nice to have a regular cycle. It was lighter and less painful for a while but it's back to being heavy and painful. It doesn't bother me because that's what my period has been like since I started, but after almost a year of mild cramps, I'd forgotten how uncomfortable they can get! I can't have it all though and I'd rather have a couple of days discomfort than irregular, scanty periods. I'm extremely grateful for this practice and feel like a noodle now 🙏🏼🧘🏼‍♀️💜

I usually pop some painkillers when I have cramps but decided to try something new. The immediate relief I felt after the massage portion was insane, will definitely be trying that when my cramps wake me up in the middle of the night, thank you Bird💕

From sharp cramps to no single cramp while the video was on. Did lots of modifications, like butterfly pose with blocks and a shorter cat cow because it's wasn't feeling right. It was lovely sharing this practice with you x

We tend to be pressured into thinking we need push through the pain or act like we don’t get periods… but by honouring our natural process and taking the time to feel better, to rest and to give the body the love it needs we can truly connect to our divine feminine purpose and connect to the power of our moon cycle through loving movement. Thank you for the bit at the end. I always struggle with my movement during my period because I generally do high intensity training. Its rough because I beat myself up a lot, during this routine I had to keep reminding myself that this is what my movement looked like today and that that's alright, having someone random I found on youtube say something that helped with my struggles almost made me cry. This was beautiful. It’s my first day of my period on a Cancer full moon and I am a Cancerian woman so I feel really connected to self today and honoring what I want and need and I needed this moment. Thank you so much for this. Doing happy baby pose made me realize that I usually curl in on myself and apply as much pressure as possible to keep the pain contained and controlled. It never occurred to me to open and breathe. Cried through the rest of it. Super helpful.

I find it hard to switch yoga teachers after I’ve been working with one for so long, but after doing this video, I’m so happy I gave it a chance! you were brilliant, Bird ❤ I can’t usually find many teachers who have really effective yoga practices for the menses, but this was great! can’t wait to check out more.

This soothed my body almost right away! I don't really ever do yoga but it was crazy to become more in tune and figure out where my body was tense and just relax. I'm definitely considering making time to do this more often.

This is my first time ever trying yoga, and you were excellent guiding through it. My period cramps often get paralyzing so I desperately needed something that wasnt pain meds or heating pads.
