15 min ROUTINE FOR A STRONGER FRONT SPLIT // Follow Along, Active and Passive Flexibility
In general working on flexibility takes time and effort and usually, we approach it incorrectly. We want to jump right into our final position, which makes us progress slower and maybe even cause injury along the way.
That’s why it's important to not just passively stretch and hold positions but to work on strengthening those muscles as well. A stronger muscle will help prevent injury and you'll be able to find that final position with more control.

For today, I’ve put together a few exercises to help us strengthen and stretch our glutes, quads, and hamstring. In the end, all of these exercises progress into a passive front split hold. Go as far as you can and take it slow.

Very nice. Thank you. Just missed a peeb when the exercises are done so I don't have to keep looking at the screen and can concentrate more on the strecht. But great input, thanks for sharing!

Do you warm up before you do these stretches or do you just go straight into the single leg front fold? Thanks

Before any kind of workout I do some warming up. It also depends on the workout intensity. For this specific workout some basic 5-10 min joint articulation is more than enough. Hope I answered your question and thanks for asking.
