Fluffy isn't the only Hispanic person to ever make that mistake. I had a friend in high school who was half Japanese half italian, and every Hispanic person that met her assumed that she was Hispanic. She would just start speaking to them in Japanese when they did that.

Lmao, I have a friend who is the exact opposite. Everyone thinks she's Asian but she's Spanish. I think our friends would cancel each other out and just become old white guys.

This is actually helpful - been studying Spanish for a few years and wondered if it’s more polite to speak English or Spanish to waitstaff and others who I’m pretty sure speak Spanish as their first language. I don’t want to be rude…. Sometimes if people talk about their background I’ll ask if they’d mind if I practiced Spanish and occasionally it’s been helpful (eg, for my new neighbor who doesn’t speak English). But now I’ll start in English - thanks, Fluffy!!

Tacos were exotic in Northern Wisconsin in the 60s and 70s. The first time I had Mexican food was in LA in 1974. Unfortunately for me, it was actual Mexican food, so I've never been a fan of fast Americanized faux Mexican food. The real thing was too good.

Lol! True. It depends on the nationality of the Latinos you're with. Puerto Ricans and Mexicans are a lot like Black people. However, when I go to lunch with my Peruvian friends, I almost never get to pay my own bill.

@@ZackT9225 Yeah... I have many sources that say that. Mexicans make way different type of food enchiladas, foods that are like this type. Native Americans were the ones who made tacos, may have been called a specific name though. But yeah, look into it a bit more. You'll find out.

he’s very safe with his jokes so i’m not laughing my ass off but he’s chill. i think he’d be great on a podcast. i actually think the show he did on netflix was a good fit just not a great show. that way he can script his jokes like normal but he isn’t expected to make u crack up.

@johnny wanker you need to read the whole chapter though it is explaining how terribly perversion can change a person. This is what the original translate bible says: 20. And she lusted after her lovers, whose flesh is like the flesh of donkeys and whose issue is like the issue of horses. So it's not funny it's a serious problem for people. That's why the Lord's word needs to be shared to save people stuck in chains and bondages of sin
