15 years.. just.. wow.
I can hardly believe that is how long it's been since I pulled out of the driveway of my comfortable beachside home in a super tiny T@b travel trailer with this guy I had met on a Prius forum.
Since we registered the domain name of Technomadia.com and started sharing this journey together. So that means it's also Technomadia's anniversary.
Oh, the places we have gone, the adventures we have had, the obstacles we've overcome and the growth we've had as individuals and as a couple.
Join us for this heartfelt retrospective sharing our story with lessons we've learned over the years. This is a long one, and just us talking. Don't expect anything fancy.
If you prefer to read along, you can catch our 15 Year Retrospective Blog Series at:

We're Cherie & Chris and we've been full time technomads since 2006. We are owned by Kiki (meow).
We have a fleet of nomadic vessels that we split our time between - a 1961 GM 4106 vintage bus, a 1999 Bayliner 4788 motor yacht and a 2016 Travato 59G van conversion. You'll find RV, van and boat life content here, as we feel inspired to share - sometimes topical, sometimes travelogues, sometimes just hanging out.
We love sharing a slice of our life with others, and also blog at www.technomadia.com, Facebook and Instagram. We use the name 'Technomadia' in all those places. Come join the adventure however you choose!
Income generation is NOT a goal of ours under the 'Technomadia' brand - we do this for fun. While not an expectation, sharing the love back sure keep us inspired to keep sharing. Ways you can say thanks here: www.technomadia.com/thanks (but honestly, leaving comments is awesome!)
Our full time 'job' is running the Mobile Internet Resource Center, where we track and educate RVers and cruisers on their options for keeping connected. Come join us at www.MobileInternetInfo.com for news, guides, reviews and courses. We also have a dedicated KZfaq channel / mobileinternetresource... you can subscribe to. Through member funding, we can give away a lot of free content - and our members get even more.

That was great! I found you guys in 2012 when searching internet on the road. I just turned 70 and am still full timing. I’m sure at 50 you still have more than one great adventure left! This makes me want to do my own retrospective now. Good luck at whatever lies ahead. Rochelle

What a timely video of yours for me to find tonight. Awesome analysis of the last 15 years of your lives. The Great Lakes story had me in tears.... my own bucket list is to put my hand in all five waters of the GL's and have three so far. If I don't make it to the last two I hope my children bring the water to me. How awesome! When we decided to go nomadic in 2016, I found you guys. We were MIA members when Verizon had the prepaid unlimited jetpack plan coupled with the MiFi 8800 L (I think) and I jumped on that and it's still working out great. So, thank you on a personal side and a professional side. You serve your people well... ~Lynette

I met you briefly when you left Zepher at Mastertech ( Elkhart ) . We were there for a while and could see Mastertech was no ball of fire . life has changed or evolved for us as well and the RV has been sold and Fla and Tx winters a fond memory . I think the best memories of our time has been the people we have met along the way . The best to you both in whatever direction your life takes you

Just caught up with this video. I really enjoyed the journey. I pegged my memories along with yours (what was I doing then?) so I went with you down memory lane. I found you all in 2015 I believe and I bought my first travel trailer in 2016. In the time since my husband and I retired, sold everything and moved into our 3rd TT and hit the road. Your journey facilitated ours and I am truly grateful for you sharing your stories. Cheers.

Thanks so much for putting this together! We really enjoyed it and appreciate your candidness and authenticity. This life has its ups and downs and it’s refreshing to hear about the poignant moments in your journey, that were so impactful. Many stories we knew and many we did not. It’s powerful to look back and reflect on such an incredible journey. Thank you for sharing this with us all. Here’s to the next 15 years, serendipity and new adventures, as yet unknown!

Thanks for sharing. Like #17. I like the "Joy your day". I have always said "Choose to be happy; it is a choice". When someone asks me "how are you?", I always respond "Great- - - its a choice". I have followed you for many of these years! I never realized the back stories. I don't know when I started following you.

As a retiree I have been a follower since 2016, when I began my nomadic life in a popup, rooftop tent, now pulling a Little Guy Max teardrop trailer. Then we shared the same zip code when you began the shakedown on your boat. As a retiree, I’ve recommended your site and everything Technomadia to everyone who wants to be a nomad. I’m still on the road and our paths will cross to share beer or wine. Stay safe together, and continue to enjoy your life’s journey. 😀👌🏾😄✌️🏾😁🤙🏾

Thank you so much for sharing your story! I found you in 2014 when I had my own series of serendipitous events that led me to nomad life. You have been an ongoing source of inspiration and learning since. After overplanning, I finally got on the road in early 2017 and lucked into a remote job in October 2019. I truly couldn't have done any of it without the knowledge you share.

Thank you for all the insights. I'm going to re-watch with my husband so we can start some of the conversations learning from you! We're in our 60's and working towards retirement and full time RV living. Right now we can't move our work to a nomadic stance so we just enjoy weekends and vacations. I can't wait until we can move slower and enjoy the travel vs rush to get there and then get home again due to limited time we can vacation.
