This is really sad. I think if I have children and things don’t work out with the father I’ll just stay single. There’s just too many predators out there looking for women with children that they can hurt. These stories happen way too often for women to still be bringing men around their teenage daughters.

That's the way to do it. I've been single almost 9 years now. I dated after my kids father left us high and dry and my ex bf decided to beat the snot out of me for going thru his phone and finding out about his cheating. My son who was 6 years old at the time walked in during the beating and it traumatized him.I never dated or brought a man around him ever again. The fear I saw in my son eyes when he walked in that room never left me. It aint worth it and most of these men are weird. I tried dating last year these men are so feminine nowadays they wanna be chased🙄 they think they're the prize. My son is 16 now and he gave me the okay to date.

How hard is it to check the car for physical evidence? They botched this case, and they know it. They had his criminal history and knew of his proclivity for children. They also had two witnesses to his strange behavior. Her body was probably in that car. Shame on them for immediately labeling this missing child as a runaway. This is my cousin, please respect our family. We never got closure. Timeka’s Father Timmy Pridgen, died of a broken heart, his only babygirl has been missing for years. Trust me this isn’t easy seeing the video to relive that horrible night and many searches us family did. It’s extremely hard to know that her smile and presence was everything. Hindsight is 20/20 and I’m sure she wishes she had known, but she didn’t. People rarely do background checks now so, back then it was even less of a thought. Nevertheless, the police did not take her or the situation seriously and labeled the young lady a runaway, which cost them valuable time. Although I think the young lady was gone shortly after being kidnapped. But maybe had the thought enough of the young lady and her mother they could have at least discovered what happened and where her body was placed so her mother wouldn’t have to spend the rest of her life wondering. I pray everything works out for you in your life and you never cross paths with someone like this dude - every criminal/deviant doesn’t have a record.

I’m a single mother with a daughter. I made the decision, the day she was born, that I would not have a man around my daughter, especially living in my home. I worked in law enforcement. They don't want to admit that they dropped the ball. They'll do that to the end of it so that they are not financially responsible. So they'll play as if they're looking and they're doing their best etc. Because if you have phone indicating that he was near, why didn't you all check to see the spots the phone stopped for a moment or etc. I say this because it seems similar to my case of my baby girl. It wasn't nothing like this. It was in car accident but no one was never charged. They closed it really quick. It was two deaths. I don't understand it. The driver wasn't hell responsible. Not even her insurance, but they wind up mixing up our baby's bodies still in their organs and there's no answers. But I say that to say they don't want to be held responsible because they dropped it from the get-go

Women need to be very careful about who you bring around your children. There is nothing wrong with being happily single, you don’t have to have a man. It looks like desperation when you choose nothing ass losers that you don’t know or take time to get to know before bringing around the kids. Take the time to get to know the person, do a background check, investigate his past, ask questions don’t jump in bed and move him in before the real him comes out. You can have relations away from home, everybody doesn’t need to be brought home. Standards and respect, if not for you the kids, they didn’t ask to be here. Now this child predator has died without facing this crime, so what’s the point of the big show you can’t prosecute him? Too little too late….bless this child that should’ve been protected by the adults in her life…..

Inviting men to live with you and watch your kids and they are not the father is mind blowing it's not all men but these tragedies are becoming to common and sad. This case seems quite easy to prosecute, the dude’s phone pinged off the cell towers, he knew she was missing before he was told, prior history of kidnapping, erased the call log, heard his car at the house and he never asked about her, demon!

This is disturbing because this man had to have put a gun to her head to make her leave otherwise I can only conclude that this young lady would have reacted by screaming or yelling, fighting etc. She'd to have been taken by force. I pray that she's safe and that she returns. As a Mother of one I can't fathom what this Mother is going through. Collective there is more to this story then is being told and it starts at home with the mother. Why would you invite a man to your home in the middle of the night to break up with him and not stay awake. Then once he calls again and tells you he is on the way you fall back to sleep. You hear noises in your home but ignore them and never come out to even verify with your daughter that he came til afterwards. Questions why were you breaking up with him? Was Eric Moore having conversations with daughter by phone. A predator of sexual offense does not just kidnap a girl. He had to be doing something prior to this incident. The mother has more info then she is sharing and maybe even grand mom maybe able to share something unsettling that has been hushed. Even if he erased stuff phone companies then kept records. Did Tameka have a journal or did she share with friends anything that was happening at home. I know one thing if I was planning to break up with someone I would not take a nap and then even after he told me he was coming go back to sleep??

It looks like the police department dropped the ball with this case. The first mistake was when they labeled this incident as a runaway instead of a kidnapping, and now they're trying to cover themselves by claiming "there was a lack of evidence" when they did not pursue the suspect! Now that he's deceased, they cant find the daughter and the mother probably wont get any answers for a 23 year old case. It's so sad.

This is crazy 😢 who else would have walked up in the house and took her? Who else knew that these adults were the type to not get out of the bed and check on strange noises and tires screeching away as if that was normal? Who else had sex offense backgrounds that would have been in and out of the house besides the one the mom was laying up with? Some stuff is just common sense and the kids are always the ones that have to pay for adult foolery. This did not happen in a huge city so no one will ever make me believe that no one knew what this man had been in prison for or that he had been in prison period espically for 20 years thats a long time a random person you just met would have a 20 year gap in his history, a simple conversation would tell you that something is not right.

And how do you hear something happening to your child, in your home, and do not go to investigate what's going on!? This woman knows way more than she's letting on to. And I would not be surprised to find out she kept meeting up with this monster after he took her daughter. But I'm guessing he didn't take her. This mother gave her daughter to this guy. How can you know someone will be at your home in 5 minutes but never get up when you think that person was at your home. And why would the mother specifically get up to look for missing things and her daughter if she thought the guy came and instantly left her home!? And that phone call the mother claimed to make to apologize was more than likely to find out if he indeed had her daughter. I pray the truth comes out and every person involved gets more than what they deserve!
