I have been messing around with cast for a while now. I just found your channel I have a few videos of my results at 100 yards. I’m using h4895 and a MP mold I size to 311 powder coat and gas check. Yesterday 5/27/22 I went out and tested 10 rounds with 32.5grs of powder I forgot to write down the base to ogive measurement. Those 10 stacked into a .4” group 2 separate 5 shot groups. But because I was STUPID and didn’t write down the base to ogive. I can’t recreate the cartridge I’m so mad at myself for that. I’m finding that the base to ogive measurement VERY important with cast rifle ammo. Any help you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated. The MP mold is the 312 159 on top of the H4895. I also noticed that the hollowpoint casting shot much better then the flat point.
