I found a picture of my dad on what I think is a 1950 BSA M20 (or 21, 22, 23). However, the valve cover and gear case cover in his picture look different than every picture I’ve seen on the internet. I would like to find and restore the exact BSA my dad had. Can you help identify the year and model if I send you picture?

Why do you oil a dry Clutch ?

That isn't a dry clutch. The whole gear case is submerged in transmission fluid. It actually improves the grip of the clutch. Think automatic transmission type of clutch.

Hi, I just dismantled the clutch of my M20 1943 and is dry, it has a seal gasket... I have a B34 too, 1951 competition model, and I have that doubt about the clutch, dry or wet... can you tell me more about please??

It is indeed a dry clutch. Maybe possible to convert into wet clutch?

Why oil a dry clutch? He screwed up that is why.
