This clock is one of the smaller ones and is a 1 day clock. Mark, a friend of mine has more than one of these clocks and some of them are made of chip board. So that left me with the question about this clock and because it never came with a brass bracket where the chains come out. Just the same, I do love this clock. Thanks for what you came up with Bat.

There are some that seem to get complicated, but in the end, I just have to relax because some may be a little different, but they all really operate with the same method. Thanks for watching DJ and God Bless.

Yes I did bend it a little in and made sure the pointer still caught the Snail without it falling behind.

My friend, Mark, that I show his channel at the end of the video, I talk to all the time. He has videos of the clock and show how some are fake and made out of chip board. Mine isn't one of them, but my clock also doesn't have the metal decoration on the bottom, where the pendulum is. Yes, mine is a smaller clock, but I thought there would be a name or maker of the smaller clocks that would be different. Thanks so much for your help anyway. Most clocks are made and sold with a bigger weight so the clock will run without any trouble so the clock doesn't get returned. Thanks so much for stopping in and you have a wonderful week.

​@@justmike57вітаю,трохи не згоден,бо це я перевірив тим ,що анкерне кліща при настройці з заводу ,рухалося з анкерною віделкою тугіше,треба було рукою на друге колесо прикласти більше зусилля,а втім й більшу гирю,тому я знову розібрав годинника і зібрав тільки виделку і анкерне коліща ,при цьому розвернув анкерне коліща навпаки і рух виделки почався од меншого зусилля,тоді я дуже ретельно від'єднав анкерне коліща з осі і розвернув його на осі цієї ж,пропаяв для нерухомості на осі і зібрав увесь механізм,годинник йде по зараз з меншою гирею,а бій годинника приводиться рідною гирею

​@@justmike57спробуйте сам зробити цей розворот анкерного коліща і тоді давлячи на анкерне коліща ви почуєте полегшення у запуску роботи анкерної виделки 😊❤,спробуйте й напишіть ваші висновки 😊

I am not sure, but I think there are other companies that made this same clock. Mine is real wood but others were made of cheap press board. Thanks so much for watching claybaby003

@justmike57 mine is real wood also, the hands look to be original to the clock but I've never seen such thick hands before on a clock they are metal made with the same material as the upper metal front and sides but mine doesn't say made in Holland on the front I forgot to mention that before..but like I said it's solid wood...do you do repairs if I ship from Florida? Can't find anyone near me willing to work on my clock. I don't know the name of it but it's big and has a man milking a cow and a waterwheel and dancers..looks older..it keeps time but it's not setting off the cuckoo and the music box isn't going off but I know it can I've heard it but now not working properly any idea how much it would cost to fix it? Thanks so much!

Hi Mike !!! May I ask? 1. Any specific weight in grams to specific clock? Or, any standard weight calculation to follow? 2. U said, d small Holland clock mine has 365 grams? What if seller has other weight like 380 grams? Is this OK? 3. I just bought an old grandmother clock about 78 inchrd high (kieneger) n it has 2 weight n pendulum. Can I replace pendulum with a more ornate one? What may be measurement n weight of pendulum? D one attached to d clock is about 17.5 inches brass with 150 grams. Is this d right weight? Again, you are a great help to a new hobbyist. Great thks!!!

As long as you are very close to the weight that them movement takes, it would be fine. You might notice the bell rings a bit faster but with that little of a difference, I don't think it would be that noticeable. As for the Grandmother clock, I haven't dealt with them much. I would think that as long as the length was the same, it should work. As for a weight change of the pendulum It it was much heavier than the original, you might have to shorten the length of the pendulum to compensate for the lack of power the movement can produce to push the swing. (if you don't have the pendulum for the clock, on the plate of the movement, there should be a number for the length of the pendulum, starting at the center shaft.). I couldn't tell you if the weights are right. You would have to test the weight on the movement to hear the sound of the tick, but more important, the chime sound with the speed of the chime.

You are right on what this clock is, but not sure how many other companies made these clocks. As for this clock, I could not find one with out the metal decoration covering the chain area and this is why I was wondering about the clock. Thanks for watching jordan busby
