I am born 64 as well so when I remember seeing these cars as old junkers they were often used buy painters because you could get long ladders on top without over reaching the car. Saw them used to tow trailers as well basically truck capability in a car. Same with the big Lincolns.

Beautiful except for the wheels. It's not a Mustang or Chevelle, and the '50s/'60s Cadillac hubcaps were works of art. Just my opinion.
