Just installed A/C into my 68. it was a little harder than I anticipated, but well worth it in the end. Can't believe I will be riding in cold air like my other, newer vehicles. Thanks for the motivation.

great vid wish you did more vids like this vary informative, good sense of humor, and most importantly vary real. you show a real install not like the other shows where all problems are cut out. you show the everyday guy can do something like this and you don't need a $1,000,000 shop with lifts and every tool you could ever need available

Thanks, Ian. As others have said, this is a great and helpful video. I enjoyed your clear instructions and was grateful for the information and the occasional mistakes. One thing I would ask for is a shot or two after all is finished of the completed unit both under the hood and in the interior just to see it all in place. Thanks!

Hi Ian, awesome video. I’m pulling off the factory air stuff from under the hood of my 66. Did you have to remove the radiator entirely? It almost seems like the mounting bolts on my old condenser also hold on the radiator. Thanks for any advice!

Gonna wait until I got my first job and get paid well to do this. But now I think Ill take this over the other kit offered by CJ Pony parts which requires computer controls and the removing of the orginal heater. Plus I need to move the under dash mounted gauges anyway because the steering wheel obstructs my view of them. And I think Ill just have someone else fill it up because I wont have the tools to do that myself.

Aloha Ian , I have a 302 motor in a 66 mustang. I need crank pulley 3 bolt w/ 3 groove and a compressor brkt. And a alternator brkt w/ pulley, like your installation but i have the 302 motor, was yours with a 289 or 302 kit. Classic industries don’t have the brkts or these in there kits. Need your help. Thank you Ian and awesome video, you make it look easy !!! Aloha

I had a question if you might please know. I had bought an AC kit to put on a 1966 Ford F100. it said on the modifications that a mustang kit will fit. Do you know if the harmonic balancer pulley you have to modify it or I have to get a different pulley then the mustangs. Two of the hose line up and the third one is just a little hair off if you could please help me I would appreciate it anybody.

@@IanKarr Im considering the Perfect Fit Elite system from Classic Auto Air. Its alot more expensive and requires an electronic controller sure, but it works with factory climate controls and its AC AND heat all in one with more fan power than stock. I had my gagues moved up to the steering column and A pillar where they wouldnt be in the way, AND I can see them more easily. I still never got around to actually installing AC though.
