I can identify w/ love of a car. I’m a 76 year old lady who still yearns for the 1968 Pontiac Firebird 400 that was my first car, Autumn Bronze w/ white leather interior. Gorgeous. I had to sell mine too, but occasionally I browse the Internet for that model & color car & remember what a blast I had.

A beautiful car and a beautiful video. Thank you for sharing this. Many people might not be able to buy their parents a car, or a house, etc, but it’s the heart and meaning behind it that matters. This video made a full grown man cry. This gentlemen reminded me so much of my wife’s grandfather that passed this last year. He was close to me and will always be. I love how he noticed the car from a distance and gave a life experience that was from in his mind. He at the time probably gave this car up for his responsibilities and didn’t question it at the time. The fact that you could genuinely see the love and the appreciation when he realized it was his brought tears to my eyes. This gentlemen’s exactly what we need more of. He deserves this car a thousand times.

I saw it on a different cropped version of this video, but the story I saw is that he sold it to be able to propose to his children's mother, then adopt them soon after. The license plate is YDHT standing for "You Didn't Have To". He loved them so much he took them on as if he didn't know a day without them, and I'm so glad he was able to have this amazing return of that same love and care. I don't even call my mom "step", she's mom through and through. It takes a very special kind of person to love like that, each and every one deserves to be given this piece of beautiful Karma.
