I have not seen a Brunswick with such beautiful carvings as this!

The earliest models from 1916-1918 had the square horn, and in 1918 they changed to the oval. Later panatrope machines used a square horn on the lower range models but kept the oval design on the higher ones. (This one has the second ultona tonearm design and no pathe' styli insert putting it between 1922-1924.)

This is the exact same machine I have! Serial number is 119xxx but has the pot metal tone arm (and all of its problems!). Yesterday I found a brass tone arm, happy about that! Question - since following your guidance on the spring cleaning and rebuild, its been perfect (thank you!) and winding is effortless now... even at 50 turns of the handle it seems it could easily go another 50. What would you recommend in terms of an acceptable number of turns on the handle as a guideline?

When I play my Brunswick, I wind it up until the crank feels heavy in my hand, it may be 50 turns in maybe more. But I let it play and when I’m through playing, I let it run all the way down.

Hi Brett- I have the exact model and I love it. How much weight do the shelves hold? I have it filled with records. Thanks for your video!

We have a beautiful 122 nearly identical to your oak one but ours is not oak. Do you know what other wood they made this in?

Care needs to be taken when oiling these motors because of the fiber governor drive gear, don't oil or grease these
