Жыл бұрынMy son bought this bike and couldn't get it working. He was done, I thought it would be a cool little grocery getter so I opted to buy it from him. I too struggled with it but in this video I finally get it running well. I have since sold it as the exhaust was to loud for me and I didn't want to put any more money in to it. Fun/frustrating but I got victory of the problem and that makes me happy!

Hello man! I have the same problem on my gs550 and have to change my coils. Can you tell me (if you remember) which coils I should use? I would greatly appreciate it 🫡

My 77 gs550 was running great for 1200 miles after a new rotor , stator , rectifier regulator . It started to lose power. Then it would barely run and die immediately with the headlight on . Stator tested ok rectifier bad . New rectifier and still barely runs . I switched to dynatek ignition a few years ago and am thinking of reinstalling the points . I’m wondering if when the rectifier died it damaged the dynatek ignition? Very frustrating . Nice video

Just bought a 81 gs450 and can’t get it to crank. Anything you suggest?

Check fuses.... not that they are not blown, but that they are making connection on BOTH sides! I had good fuses but they were not making contact on out put side to the connector... its usually something very simple but can be hard to find.

Do you use original igniter box, or did you find work around ?

It was not original. Previous owner had upgraded or replaced before me.
