I have a 1987 Crown Victoria wagon, a1991 Crown Victoria wagon and a 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis LS 50th anniversary edition with only 73,000.0 miles. All are in excellent shape and are driven regularly. I will use only the 1987 wagon in the winter to keep the other two out of the salt. Your 1986 is a beautiful example of a four door sedan with those spoke hubcaps. All of mine have the aluminum turbine wheels. Thanks for your video.

@@andymckinley9179 Your 1986 is in terrific shape and in large part very similar to my 1989 Grand Marquis LS. I lucked out with the purchase of it as I was taking my 1987 Crown Victoria Wagon in to my local dealer and I saw this beautiful Grand Marquis on his car lot and he let me have it as a loaner car while the Ford was in the shop. I fell in love with it and when I returned for the Ford a week later he asked me if I liked the Mercury and I told him it was coming home with me permanently.

When I had mine my first road trip in it when I got my license was from Brookline Massachusetts to Miami Florida and no problems just a beautiful comfortable ride. I only had to stop for gas and back then it was only $1.09 a gallon that was 1992 lol. Then road trip to Canada. God i loved that car. Best car i ever owned. I miss the panther platform

Yeah, my kids asked me why they don’t make cars like this anymore. They love the smooth comfortable ride! Such a great car.

My 86 Grand Marquis used to have this big clunk in the rear while downshifting. It still drove well.

I didn't see the engine light on the left I know that it's for the oil pressure and also temperature. I love them cars but they have soft cranks in them and usually loose oil pressure around a hundred and twenty to forty thousand miles and about the life of them I love the style had four of them in my time looking for another one

Seems to gave drcent acceleration. You font floor it lije i do. I had a 78 LTD Landau eith a 460 as nd that was a rocket.

........... must be WESTERN Ohio.. by the looks of the scenery ............ BTW, I don't like exhaust "rumble" --- should be QUIET..... where's the resonator?

Yep, you are correct. I’m in Western OH. Previous owner deleted the muffler.

@@CrestwoodRocks I installed a brand new stock exhaust and she’s quiet again. Just uploaded a “short” showing the quieter sound you can check out if you want.
