Those are all nice looking greens on their own and should look great when put together. I think this bike will be one of the nicest looking bikes in the collection!

Interesting move you got there with the pry bar. And that bearing came off in a non Del Success 👍 And great tip about the grease. Remember a car mechanic showed me the same method when I was about 16 years old (30 years ago) 😂 Master video!

Tip. If you're wheels are in good shape. You can epoxy prime with extra thinner so it lays smooth and leave for 30 mins. Then straight on with two pack paint for a perfect adhesion and finish.

Yes, absolutely. I didn’t have my paint sorted out when I primed them so had to scuff them before painting . But in the past I have painted within 24 hrs and no need to scuff . Cheers !!

Another excellent production. Your easy going explanatory process is very well suited to KZfaq productions and I have seen many. You are up with the best so keep up the good work. The green colours are not for me I'm afraid irrespective of probably being period correct. What about finding a classic 2 stroke and extend your engine skills even further

Thanks a lot! I appreciate that very much. The Skoal Bandit livery is definitely unique, I believe it was Available in the UK only. I’m normally an OEM resto guy too, and while Skoal Bandit was an OEM colour the fact that this bike didn’t have its original engine, I decide to let the creative juices flow a bit LOL I’ve done a few 2 strokes, they were before my KZfaq production days but I do have some video slide shows here in my channel of those restorations . kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gZN-dqyX2LzKiYk.htmlsi=upt1ih6kh3jEVtPw An 88 RGV250 and an 87 RG250 Walter wolf. The 2 strokes are starting to get out of reach now, just too costly. I’d love to find another NS400R to restore in Rothmans colours to match my HRC colour NS400 but sadly not many of those around either

Gota watch brake clean on some rubber and plastic ironic it’s called brake cleaner Warm water and soap is the safer option on brake seals

Yes, some of these chemicals are nasty. carb cleaner is bad for carbs with runner diaphragms too, turns them to goo
