Part 9 of my mini series of rebuilding and cleaning up my 1987 Kawasaki GPZ600R (ZX600A) Ninja. In part 1 I removed the fairings and in part 2 I striped the bike down of all its components and got the bike naked. Part 3 was the engine removal, part 4 was the front fork removal. Part 5 was the frame paint and part 6 I looked at the engine, cleaning it and checking the valves. In part 7 I started to rebuild the back end of the bike and in part 8 I refitted the carburetors, swingarm, top end of the cooling system and some various bits and pieces. This video sees me rebuilding the rest of the cooling system, exhaust system, head bearings and other odd jobs that need sorting. If you like to, just follow me on my musical journey of stripping and rebuilding this bike, giving it a cosmetic and mechanical makeover to keep this old classic bike looking good and roadworthy.
