Thanks for this, I bought a 300zx TT, already fully disassembled, so thanks to you videos, I can get a better look at what it's supposed to look like and what goes where a lot better than the grainy online service manuals. Your vids also help me see what the original bolts and bolt sizes are.. Something the service manual does not.

WOW sorry about you had to redo you video about the music in the background just carzy. On my z31 l had to actually used ALLEN wrench to get minds off because the socket wouldn't fit in that tight area Yes am learning alot about my engine thanks for the video bro. I am doing my engine but the only problem I did wrong I mistakely move the N0.1 PISTON was not at TDC. so we see what happen it is what it is.

I tore down one of these engines a long while back. I can't believe how easily you pulled these turbos. I could only get the bolts to turn a few degrees then use a different wrench to turn a little more and so forth and so on. Even with universal joints and wobbly extensions there was no way to get a socket on them. Like I said its been about ten or twelve years ago, but I still remember it taking about an hour to pull each one.

Something that he forgot to do and mention is following torque patterns. It is as equally as important for disassembly as it is assembly. Get the torque specs and patterns online. You can still crack a head or a cam upon removal if you do not follow the torque pattern. Just a precautionary measure that I typically go by. I am sure you can get away with it most of the time, but 40p heads are not cheap.

Pretty sure I pulled the heat shield and manifold off with the turbo on it. And then separated them on the ground. I recall it was a pain to get the heat shield off though

When you pulled the heads, you left out the part about there being a small 10mm bolt at opposite ends of each head. A lot of people don't know about these and the heads won't come off till you remove them. Just saying, not critisizing.

Having an issue with the driver side turbo... how do you get the bolts off?!

I never take too much pride or credit for working on my cars. The engineers are the geniuses, they are the smart ones. Anyone can turn bolts. Helps to justify not going all out on performance mods. More people need to appreciate factory cars. So many perfectly good Nissans have been destroyed by morons. And they sit there begging for a premium price for their pieces of junk.
