2000 Acura integra ls 1.8 I had the same problem I replace plugs wire cap. And rotor I also had an exhaust leak in my exhaust manifold header which I also replaced Still had high rpm I cleaned tbi iacv and replaced tbi gasket still had high rpm Iast I check my throttle position sensor and after a long search I’m guessing who had this car before replaced it since it’s not oem part denso I think they just replaced it and not calibrated it But for me that was the problem for my high rpm 1700-2000 while idling At closed throttle it read .88 And should be .48-.50 Open should be 4.50 Mine stayed at closed .50 fully open 4.20 Now my RPM stay below 1000 When cold start up when fully warm about 750-800rpm

sal v super easy all you need is a mulimeter and use 12volt settings There’s multiple videos on how to calibrate the tps

justinbam KAG 2020 I did check that too and it was working good I just needed the tps calibrated everything has been good ever since no issues it’s been over 2 years now going on third year and rpm is still stays around 750-800

I have the same problem strong smell like gas during idle and idles around 1500-1700

It’s an easy fix i had the same issue where my throttle body would get stuck and would had to kick the gas pedal for it to settle. The skunk2 don’t come with the springs that our oem throttle body have, the spring is located inside where the tps sits. So what you have to do is remove spring from oem and put in the skunk 2 it might seem tricky to put it back in. This well solved the problem it did with me.

I tried swapping TPS, cleaning throttle body and nothing helped. I tried lowering the stop screw that stops the butterfly. I did that and mine isn't sticking anymore. Good luck

So I have a 1997 integra and I just bought a new throttle body and I put it on but when I start it the rpm’s are high and have to pull the gas peddle back towards me to lower the rpm’s and when I push on the throttle pulley it gets stuck where I last had pushed it to and have to pull it back any advise 🥲

You need to adjust the butterfly stop screw. It sounds like it has backed out

mines the same bro. I bought a new one, its coming Saturday. for now I bought the finest wet sand paper to smoothen the scratchy spots. not sticky any more. but found out its my throttle body gasket leaking, I sprayed throttle cleaner, all around the gasket an the car idle down or all most died, every time while running.

i got one a few years back and out the box it stuck. easy fix take the bolt holding the trottle spring and give it one more rotation makes the trottle really snappy

You have to back out the set screw on the bottom where the throttle cable is. Unscrew the bolt and then back out the screw.

Clean your fast idle control valve and the valve directly under your throttle body. Idle should drop to 800rpm

Also your missing vacuum line on your charcoal canister spout on top of TB ... u need to either run it or plug it. If it’s open your vacuum will be crap on other systems

It’s blocked off on the skunk 2 tb I swapped to the oem type r tb and it fixed the issue the skunk 2 tb was bad

I understand u took it off and went back to OEM. But did you ever calibrate the TPS you have to use multi meter to measure resistance and then u have to calibrate the new TPS to that resistance or else it was never zeroed out. Also you had vacuum lines open and not plugged up I saw u never plugged you charcoal canister spout on the top of the S2 TB and with open vacuum that makes me worried about how other systems are doing I know things are back to OEM and now vacuum is plugged up and u went back to TB that already came calibrated. Just wondering did you calibrate your TB TPS and did you ever plug the top tube on TB? If not then you just didn’t install it correctly. U don’t just screw it on. And you can’t have open vacuum lines!

ofc its dirty cause you have ur hose connected to ur intake so its sucking oil and endup with gunk in ur intake lol common sense try to adjust the screw that holds ur throttle open ur butterfly alittle
