large injectors, upgraded cams and other things don't lend well to good cold starts

Awesome build man! Wish I could make my 8g Awd someday. Glad these guys asked the questions I was wondering. My brother has a 16g gsx and ready to upgrade. All built internals already done on an evo 3 block. Your fp red sounds amazing. Do you have the ball bearing or journal bearing turbo? Keep up the good work! So happy to see a nice clean 2g still roaming the streets!

He guys, i have a question. I live in europe and here is hard to find gsx. I just blown my gearbox and i want to know is it the same gearbox on the gsx and the gs NA? Cause i can find only gs NA parts.

+GTO Onizuka They are different transmissions, the NA one is from FWD only and won't have the output shaft for AWD. There are a number of dealers in the US who will probably ship you parts to fix yours. Jacks Transmissions, TMZ Performance, or Team Rip Engineering.

ok so wait a sec... are you on an electric cutout? you have bumper exit and full exhaust? I want to do that when I add my bumper exit if its efficient

Yes I have a cutout and full exhaust. I've seen spool up drop about 200rpm with the cutout open.

so your saying when u switch to the bumper exit you lose 200rpm of spool as in you lag for 200 more rpm? what kind and where did you buy the cutout from.

2GeclipseGSX No, when the cutout is open, the turbo spools up about 200 rpm sooner, less restriction=faster spool. I bought the cutout from DMH but right now I need to have it repaired and am having a hard time getting any action from them.

FP Red, Tial 38mm off of a SBR manifold and a Tail Q bov.

if you wash the car properly....underside, in behind bumpers and behind the front fenders you wont have to really deal with rust. My car's seen Canadian winters (lots of salt!) since it was new and has zero rust.
