And the winner of the Best WoWs video content goes to Clyde Plays for the 1st Annual Golden Barnacles Awards. That was aesomely done. Super high production values. I for one appreciate the huge effort you put in to produyce and host the innaugrual Golden Barnacle Awards (not to mention herding all those CCs and WG employees).. I do have one complaint - Bagsy's use of the Super Container for the new British Battlecrusiers. It was a beautifully made/rendered prop, but anyone who plays WoWs knows that the correct in game item for a new tech line is a (very large) pile of Doubloons.🙂 Thanks Clyde.

I honestly love that you left the 'Welcome to the Party, Pal' in there instead of edit it out. XD It was such a great show and I enjoyed it immensely. Also the chat energy was great. And you did such an amazing hot show! Very professional and high quality. Also I might have watched that ship Highlight Reel like five times now.

Wow, I didn't expect this video even in eight different worlds. A very pleasant surprise, I love the late night show host mode that you do to your videos, they give a super different touch and a fresh air that this game needs so much. This video about the awards, I think it's a great idea! But I admit that it reminded me a little bit of the dundie awards of the series "The office" heheheheheh Without a doubt, the best thing was the big surprise that you went to a real Forrest Sherman class! Keep up the good work, it's very enjoyable. Kind regards from a Spanish guy living in France.

Just got Forrest Sherman recently. Excellent ship, until you get radared lol. Had a recent game where i learned the hard way that Alaska has a 50 second radar.

San Diego - got it Malta - don't got it, my parent were married when I was born ;) I-56 - got it... Santa gave it to me Tromp - don't got it Incomparable - don't got it, need more steel Sevastopol - don't got it British BCs - on tier 9 Malta (2nd win) - yeah, still not a fan of CVs Incomparable (2nd win) - still not as good as Mecklenburg... you all know it's true Forrest Sherman - got it, whew... I was starting to feel like a slacker

This is how you make a good show. I liked every single minute of this - despite the fact that ALL of the awarded ship choices were unacceptable for me. :-) Malta, Incomparable, Sherman... Maybe the San Diego was the only one which could be the justified winner of its category. Maybe.

I was....shocked when the results came in so British! I'll shamefully admit, I cast a few votes for Malta - she's just sooo strong! But It was nice to San Diego and Sherman take home awards. I also like Sev, though she's not super popular it seems - luckily for her, she didn't have any competition, haha. Thanks for Watching Morsana!

So who got to vote for these awards? I play everyday and also keep tabs on the WOWS website and forum and I dont ever recall seeing anything about these awards or being invited to vote. Or was this just an event for the CC's and WG staff?

Hey Wayne - these awards were voted on by a panel of judges I assembled comprised of mostly streamers and a couple WG guys. The top prize - Best New Premium or Special Ship of the Year was voted on by the people (I also called it the "People's Choice" award), primarily advertised on twitch streams of the people involved. I should have dropped a post on the forums! I'll remember that for next year! To be clear, this is my own event - not WG's, so it doesn't get Wargaming's website as a vehicle to promote it by default. Thanks for watching - I hope you enjoyed the show.

How does Tromp beat Forest Sherman in the DD category, but then Sherman wins the overall award? Makes no sense.

The Best Premium or Special Destroyer was selected by a panel of judges. These judges play a lot of WOWS and most have access to all of the ships released in 2022. Sherman won a popular vote, open to anyone in the WOWS community. Sherman won because she is incredibly popular with the player base. Hope this helps!
