This is episode 2 of Making a Row by Row Quilt with my AccuQuilt fabric cutter. Cutting fabric needed with the Accuquilt fabric value die. I make 3 different stars, cutting amounts listed below, and you can make the same 5 for your first row or any combination you want. I also show how I recommend cutting your fabric with the AccuQuilt value die. Use the photos placed after cutting for your guide in placement of your Star bits. I put the placement diagrams up at the end to help you put your stars together. Now, Let's get Rowing!
The cutting for each star is:
Sawtooth Star:
2 Fabrics: Background and Print
Cut 1 4.5” square of print
Cut 4 2.5” Squares of Background
Make 8 Half Square Triangles with half Background and half Print
Follow Photo for placement.
Ribbon Star:
2 Fabrics: Background and Print
Cut 4 2.5” Squares of background
Make 8 Half Square Triangles with half Background and half Print
Follow Photo for Placement
LeMoyne Star:
3 Fabrics: Background and Print 1 and Print 2
Cut 4 2.5” Squares of Background
Make Half Square Triangles:
4 with Background and Print 1
4 with Background and Print 2
4 with Print 1 and Print 2
